Performance Interuptions

It was the middle of Taylor's forevermore tour and today was the day she would be performing in London with a one of the biggest crowds that she will perform in front of. As she was going to be in a stadium in London she decided that it would be a good idea to invite Joe and their son Alfie who was only 2 years old along with her to stay and watch backstage.

Taylor was sitting in her makeup chair getting her hair and makeup done with Alfie sitting on her knee playing on her phone "so are you excited" Joe asked her who was sitting on the sofa behind them watching them through the mirror.
"Yeah I think so but I feel a bit more nervous than I thought I would be"
"Trust me Taylor everybody out there loves you if they didn't then they wouldn't have bought a ticket for your show and from what I've seen it's an excellent show to watch."
"Thank you" she said giving him a quick kiss on the lips as her hair and makeup team left after asking if she thought everything looked ok.
"Taylor your on in 5" they heard from outside the door.
"Ok so you know what your doing yeah? Keep an eye on him at all times and don't let him eat anything he shouldn't be or wonder off anywhere"
"Yes love I know now go out and give the people what they want, a performance of a lifetime"
"Ok, ok I'm going I'll see you later" she said giving him a kiss on the lips and handing the baby over who fell asleep in her lap.

She was in the middle of her sixth song, Champaign Problems, when she noticed that the crowd wasn't looking at her anymore instead they were cooing over something tiny at the other end of the stage. She didn't think much of it and continued to play the piano when she felt a slight tap on her back which made her turn around and she saw her one and only son looking up at her with adoration in his eyes. At first she was shocked and didn't know what to do because in all of the two years Taylor and Joe collectively agreed that they wouldn't show their sons face in the internet and so far they had done a great job at it but now she knew that the pictures will already be circling the internet. Discreetly she looked over to the side of the stage where she could see Joe looking guilty but happy at the same time. He nodded at her to say that it was ok and if she wanted he would come and get their son but she just smiled and stopped playing the piano to turn and pick Alfie up to put him on the stool beside her. "Well everyone it looks like he is done hiding so I would like to introduce you to our beautiful son Alfie Swift-Alwyn who will be joining me for I'm guessing at least until the end of this song before he is bored and wants to go and run around" Taylor laughed looking towards the audience while playing with Alfie's long blonde hair.

Once the song was finished everyone started clapping and Alfie joined in and laughed making everyone laugh and aww at the young boy who surprisingly stayed and stood or sat beside Taylor as she finished her show and walked off when Joe came and took his hand all three of them waving as they walked backstage into Taylor's dressing room.
