It takes two

Chapter 6

I walk over to Louis, cautiously and slowly. I nervous but he's not allowed to see that. "Emily." He acknowledges me as I approach him. "How've you been?" He asks cooly. This infuriates me. "Liam told me." I say confidently. "And Harry confirmed it" he looks confused and this angers me more because he still thinks I won't find out. " I'm not an idiot you know?" I say angrily. "I don't know what your talking about" he tries to dismiss me. I think he's catching on. "You know you would've proved yourself more of man if you just said that you didn't want me anymore" I laughed an evil-like laugh. "I mean you were already running away from me, why didn't you just do it yourself?" I sigh he obviously isn't going to admit this. "Emily your causing a scene." He says dismissively. The anger boils up again.

I turn around and look at everybody. They are staring at us. I shake my head, "I'm causing a scene?" I ask and he doesn't reply. " I'm causing a scene?" I say even louder. He looks intimidated which just builds up my confidence. " well I sure as hell was causing a scene after you left me and I had nobody else to turn to so I tried to kill myself that's when I was causing a scene!" I scream. Eleanor looks scared to death. "I was causing a scene when my parents had to fly to England to see their daughter in a hospital bed!" I'm ranting now. He knows how my parents treat me. " and I sure as fucking hell was causing a scene when Demi found me 1 minute away from death for the second time!" I scream so loud I think they can hear me from the bottom floor. Then I lower my voice to a whisper "and you know what?" I ask him holding my death gaze. I wait for an answer. "What?" His voice cracks and he has tears in his eyes. "It was always your fault."

I say and storm out grabbing Harry on the way out. I know he cares about me and he always makes me feel better. He sighs "em I didn't know."I nod and then it's my turn to sigh. "It's my past you know..." I trail off, Harry gives me an encouraging look telling me to continue. "And it's all because of him, he didn't even know or care until today." Harry nods patting my back. I look into his eyes then I'm caught in his gaze, there's a familiar feeling in my heart but I don't know if it's true. "I have to go talk to the girls and Simon."I tell Harry, and we start walking in. When I go in I see everyone there except Louis. "I'm really sorry guys that was a long time coming."

The guys give understanding nods (not Liam) but the girls have different expressions. Perrie and eve give looks of sympathy, summer has a really bitchy look on her face, and El is crying. I decide to walk over to her, "can we talk?" I ask her. She nods and we walk to another room. "I'm sorry if that changed your view-" she cuts me off. "No, no, it didn't it's just, even though it's my boyfriend you did that to, I find it like inspiring. You have so much courage." She says making me smile. "And your not even crying" she sighs. I give a sad laugh. "I cried all night last night I think I've had enough of crying." I tell her making her smile sort of. "I'm sorry he did that to you" she says so quietly it's almost inaudible.

I sigh and shake my head. "Me too" she takes my hands and tells me "I know I'm your ex's girlfriend but I'm here for you and I want us to be friends because I need a person like you in my life." I smile and hug her. "Ok El thank You!" We leave the room and everyone smiles except Liam and summer (surprise). El whispers to me "they are like tin man and tin woman, born without hearts, that's what attracts them to each other." I laugh at her joke and think of his nice she is. Louis walks out and the tension in the room is so high. So Simon breaks it and says "ok em let's give some relationship advice considering that's your job!" I laugh at him and roll my eyes. "Liam and summer lets go" he says ruining an already bad day.
