The Realm of Shadows

Skye, the triplets, Webby, and Lena sat in a circle, candles and magic rocks surrounding them. Lena and Webby began to hum a song that Skye hadn't recognized. Purple dust surrounded them. A light flashed all around them before they were teleported.

When she opened her eyes, she saw the mansion, but everything was black and grey.

They all stood up, taking in their surroundings.

"Ok, according to the map of the shadow realm, the amulet should be in the living room above the painting of Uncle Scrooge." Huey examined the map in his JWG (who knows how it got there).

They raced to the living room, only to be met with shadows. Shadows of themselves.

Great. You know, I had a feeling we weren't gonna be alone.

She stared at her own shadow, it's red eyes glaring back at her.

Who knew I'd be fighting myself... in the Ducktales dimension. Just gotta be random huh Universe?

Unfortunately for Skye, her shadow wasn't the only one after her. The rest of the Mcduck family gathered around the group. Everyone from Scrooge, to Donald, to Fenton.

They stood in their signature positions ready to fight back.

The first to charge was Skye's (of course). Ughhh. Why me!?

She gave her shadow an uppercut to the mouth and slammed her body against the fireplace. Her shadow gave her a huge smirk before drop kicking her onto the couch.

They struggled with each other. Skye's shadow got on top of her and grabbed at her necklace.

What!? Oh heck no! You're not taking my medicine wheel!

She flipped her over, sat up, and punched her out of existence. The others seemed to struggle a bit more with their shadows, well, except Lena. Hers was gone before anybody even moved. She was busy attacking Scrooge and Donald.

Ok, one more to deal with. Fenton Crackshell Cabrera. Great.

He lunged for her, knocking the wind out of her. She crawled away. He was catching up with her. Somehow, using black shadow magic, he wrapped his shadow arms around her waist, squeezing the breath out of her.

She noticed a spear hanging on the side of the wall. She grabbed it and aimed it at Fenton's chest. She only had one chance. Her lungs seemed to close up, causing her to stop breathing. She felt like giving up.

No! I'm not throwing away my shot!! And with that, she threw the spear at him, hitting his torso. He disappeared into thin air.

Yes! I did it! Whoo Hoo!

The others were finished with their shadows. She caught up to them and walked back to the painting.

Lena began to levitate in front of them. She reached for the amulet in the painting, and found it successfully.

When she landed on the ground, Skye asked everyone's question.

"Wait, she could do that the whole time!?" Lena nodded. The others looked at her, demanding an explanation.

"Well, I thought it would be fun if you guys fought your own shadows like I did. It was pretty entertaining." She giggled.

"Are you serious!? I could've died!" Louie screamed.

Wait. Hold up. I could've died too. Haha Big brain.

All of a sudden, a gust of wind pulled them closer together. A bright light flashed and they were back in the room they started in. Huh? What just happened? We didn't do that.

Her questions were answered immediately. "What did you kids do!? You five are in so much trouble! I can't believe you'd risk your lives going into the shadow realm. You didn't even let me or Scrooge know!" Oh gosh. Could it be? Yes it was!

She ran up to the duck and hugged him. "Oh my gosh, I've always wanted to meet you Donald!" She squealed.

"Ummm. I'm sorry, but who's this!?" he asked, weirded out that a random duck was hugging him.

Louie explained. "Oh that's Skye. She's from another dimension. We helped her find Magica's amulet so she could save the multiverse." Donald was at a loss of words. His jaw dropped to the floor.

Skye checked the time. She had to get going.

"Uhh. Sorry guys. I gotta go save the multiverse and all." She said. Then she had an idea.

"Wait. What if you guys come with me? You could help me defeat Bill. The more, the better."

The Triplets looked at each other, totally in. Lena and Webby nodded in agreement.

Dewey spoke. "Are you kidding? Going on an adventure to battle a villain?"

"Learning the secrets of the multiverse?" Huey added.

"Possibly become famous and gain riches and glory!" Louie mentioned.

"No." Donald said. "I can't risk you getting hurt. This is a villain from a different dimension. You have no idea what he's capable of." He looked at Skye." I'm sorry, but we can't help you." he said sternly. She understood. Donald was just being a (perfect) protective parental figure.

"No, it's ok. I respect that Mr. Duck." She looked at the ducks, heads lowered in dismay.

"Hey. You guys. I had a ton of fun with all of you. Maybe we can do it again sometime?"

"Hehe, yeah. Hopefully." Louie said, not much cheerfulness in his voice.

"Well, I'll see you guys later." She said before hugging each of them. She walked out of the mansion and into the street. It began to get dark.

"Bill?" She called aloud. She waited a few minutes.

"Bill. I need your help." She said. Still nothing.

"Ok Bill, I'm done, you can bring me to the next dimension." Finally, Bill arrived.

Hey there Blue Skye. Ready for the next portal?

"Um. Yeah? Aren't you gonna show me in a dream though?"

No. I decided to give you a freebee. My treat. He said, opening a portal in front of her.

"Wow. Thanks Bill. What do I need to get here?" She asked.

Just a ruby ring. You should find it in the mystery shack.

Right before entering the portal, she thought she heard a voice. She kept walking in, the portal closing behind her. Where am I?

She heard a voice screaming at a few kids not too much older than she.

"You wanna pick a fight with me!?" She saw a brunette threatening them.

Mabel! And Dipper was with her! Mabel carried a chainsaw while dipper carried a shovel. This must be-
