SHES GONE RAN through Amelias mind as she lay awake in bed, tears streaming down her face

When she hadn't seen her mother for hours after she left the theatre, she called the hospital to be informed that her mother's condition worsened and that she had little hours left

Amelia immediately rushed to the hospital, of course, and spent her mother's last remaining hours by her side, she cried the entire time, but now her last remaining family member was gone.

Amelia let out a pained scream into her pillow as she remembers her mother's final words 'I love you, Amelia, don't ever forget that.'

Amelia couldn't handle the thought of her mother being gone, so she did the one thing she always did when upset, call Millie.

"Amelia?" Millies tired voice came from over the phone "It's 2am, what's wrong?" The brunette questions, Amelia had to stop herself from swooning over her crushes voice, now was not the time..

"Mils.. she..." Amelia tries to say before letting out choked sobs, "Amelia, breathe." Millie says softly, now fully awake hearing the cries of her crush

"What happened?" Millie asks softly, Amelia took a breathe "Shes gone." Amelia whispers, Millie felt her heart break at the realisation on why Amelia didn't text her today

"I'll be over in 10, I'll see you then." Millie says softly before ending the call

Amelia let out soft cries as she waits for Millie to arrive, wanting nothing more then just to see her mother one last time.

After 10 minutes of numbness, Millie bursts in to the girls room, normally it would be weird for someone to do that, but Amelia didn't care all she wanted was her best friend.

"Amelia." Millie whispers in sorrow as the girl sits up to look at her friend, Millie felt her heart shatter as she notices the red puffy eyes on her best friend

Millie held her arms open for a hug and Amelia quickly stood up and threw herself into Millies arm, tears immediately landing on Millies shoulder

Millie began to whisper comforting words into the girls ear as she held her tightly, not planning on letting go any time soon.

AFTER AN HOUR Amelia had finally stopped crying, the two now on the girls bed as she dug her head into Millies neck, "I'm sorry, i'm such a mess right now." Amelia mumbles against Millies skin, unknowingly causing shivers down the girls spine

"None of that babygirl, I've said it before, even when you're crying, you're still beautiful" Millie reassures the girl, Amelia pulls away from Millie, staring into her eyes

"Do you really mean that?" Amelia asks, sounding more vulnerable than ever.

Millie brushes a hair that had fallen onto Amelias face and smiles "Of course I mean it, Lia, it's the truth." She says softly, staring the girl in the eyes

Amelia felt herself entrapped in Millies eyes yet again, they were the perfect shade of green, Amelia couldn't help but look into them

Amelia suddenly felt her eyes drift to Millies lips, suddenly noticing the very little pace between them, all Amelia had to do was lean forward, and then.. she would finally know what it's like to kiss Millie O'Connell.

Millie notices how Amelias eyes drifted and felt her face heat up "Amelia?" Millie asks softly, Amelia looks into Millies eyes once more before closing the distance between the two

Millies eyes widen slightly, before she shut them slowly as she melted into the kiss

It wasn't anything like the movies described it, there were no fireworks, no sudden noises pulling the two way from each other

It was just.. Millie and Amelia, finally living out their shared dream of kissing the other, Millie wraps her arms around the girls waste, pulling her closer to deepen the kiss, while Amelia wraps her arms around Millies neck, both of the girls were over the moon

It felt perfect, the butterflies in the girls stomachs going wild as they finally pull away, Millie resting her forehead on Amelias, wanting nothing more than to kiss the girl one more time

"That was... wow.." Amelia mumbles, a bit flustered, "Yeh" Millie agrees with a giggle

"I.. really like you Millie." Amelia tells the girl who smiles widely "If it isn't obvious, I really like you too, Amelia" The girl says in response

Amelia smiles genuinely for the first time that night "I know I look a mess right now but... would you like to go on a date with me?" Amelia asks slightly nervous

Millie smirks playfully "That depends, do I get to kiss you more?" She asks with a teasing tone

Amelia smiles "You mean like this?" She questions before closing the distance once again, and by god, were Millies lips addicting, she was never going to get enough of kissing her, even if it's only been twice

Amelia pulls away, smiling at the flustered look on Millies face "Yes, I would love to." Millie says after a moment of silence

"Let's not tell the other Queens, I want to see how long it takes them to figure out." Amelia says, Millie nodding in agreement

before softly placing her lips on Amelias for the third time that night
