Piggy: Life With The Infected (On hold)

Chapter 1

"What if we look for a cure?" George asks as the others stare at him. They look at each other until Amethyst broke the silence."George, we could do that but-" "Hey! We could go to the hospital that's a few miles away from here!" Pony interrupted. Zizzy and George looked at him and agreed. Amethyst just stared at the ground trying not to look at anyone. Zizzy saw her expression and got worried.

"Amethyst?" Zizzy asked. She stood silent not saying a word. "Is there something wrong?" Pony asked. Amethyst sighed and finally spoke, "We could go to the hospital, but me and someone else were already there. One of the doctors turned infected and then the whole place was abandoned after we escaped..." Pony and George were shocked, but Zizzy just stood there thinking. "Someone? We?" She thought. Then she spoke, "If you don't mind me asking, who was that person you were with and escaped with?" Amethyst just looked back down trying to hold back tears. "B-bunny..."

Zizzy gasped, she couldn't believe it! Bunny?! Her friend for many years?! Pony looked at both of them, "If you don't mind, me and George are gonna go somewhere and let you two talk for a bit-" he said while laughing nervously and pulling George by the arm. George rolled his eyes and followed Pony to somewhere else.

Zizzy and Amethyst just stood there, staring at each other. Zizzy could tell that Amethyst was holding back tears. She was afraid to ask her, but she just had to know. "Amethyst. I really don't want to make you sadder but, what happened to Bunny? She wasn't with you when we met you in the carnival..." At this point, Amethyst let a few tears. She wanted to say something, but she couldn't. Her emotions took the best of her. Zizzy looked at her sadly, trying not to cry, "Oh no, please don't tell me she's-" "No! No she's not..." Zizzy sighed in relief, "Oh thank god". Amethyst just stared at the ground, trying to calm down. "So what happened to her then?" Amethyst looked up and sighed.

"We were at the hospital because for some reason, I passed out. After I woke up, Bunny told me that the hospital wasn't safe anymore. She told me that we needed to get out and Mr.P was waiting for us on the roof. It took me awhile to process all this since I just woke up. It took us a while but we finally escaped, only to find out that Mr.P abandoned us. So we decided to go somewhere else to escape, which was the Metro that wasn't very far. Bunny said she needed to rest, it was fine with me since I had to find things to fix the train to work again. Once it was fixed, Bunny didn't look so good. I asked her if she felt ok, she told me that Mr.P gave her a potion and she drank it. She didn't know that i-it would soon t-turn h-her into a-..."

Amethyst broke down in tears, she couldn't explain anymore. Zizzy looked at her with shock, "One of the infected-?" Amethyst nodded. "She t-told me that I h-had to go without h-her. Then the train t-took me to the c-carnival, that's when I met y-you guys..." Amethyst couldn't control herself. Then, she felt arms, Zizzy has hugging her. She hugged back. "It's ok. She did what was best. She tried to protect you." Amethyst cried into her shoulder, even Zizzy let a few tears fall. "Now, we should go with the others. We can go look somewhere else for a cure." Amethyst looked up and nodded, wiping away tears. They both went to go catch up with Pony and George.

WOOO!! My first chapter completed! It might take a while to update because middle school is gonna start soon for me. But I had a lot of fun making my first chapter! Alrighty then, see ya next time!
