(After dinner)

I laided out with the sun beaming down onto my pale skin with the sound of the crashing waves on the sand in the background. This reminded me of old times late day beach trips with my friends or my parents playing volleyball in the warm sand even though I didn't know how to play. all the old memory's ran though my brain reminding me of my childhood I had a good childhood for the most part, I wasn't rich but I wasn't poor I didn't live in a big house but I didn't live in an apartment it was perfect sometimes I look back to those days and think why did I leave? (5 years earlier)

"Madeline!!!!!" Yells my mother

"Coming!!!!!" I yell from my room down the hallway of the laundry room

"What's up mom?" I say as I entered the laundry room to see my mother with piles of laundry on the ground and surrounding her

"Honey your going to start having to help out around the house I'm getting old I can't handle all this work by myself especially when your fathers always out on business trips" says my mother

"But mom! I'm moving out in a week!!" I say exitedly

"I know sweetheart but your college isn't that far from the house so it would be helpfull if you could just help with a few things around the house!" Says my mother

"Mom, didn't I tell you?" I say "I'm not going to college...." I say

"What!!?" She yells "all of the mosez family has gone to college you can't just not go what are you gonna do with your life!?" She yells

"Im going to la! I'm gonna Persue my dreams mom come on you know I've always wanted to go to la!?" I say

"No...NO we never agreed to this you told me you were going to college down the street what are you even gonna do in la?!" She says getting angry

"In sorry mom I didn't want you to tell me not to go and look what your doing now!!!" I say yelling

"MADELINE YOUR NOT GOING TO LA DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPEND TO YOU LESS THAN A YEAR AGO YOU ALMOST DIED YOUR NOT READY TO BE ON YOUR OWN!!" She yells

"MOM IM 16 YRS OLD I CAN DO WHAT I WANT" I yell at her

"what's going on?" Says my dad walking into the door

"Your daughter thinks she's gonna move to la!!? By herself what are you even gonna do there madeline?!" Yells my mom

"I'm not by myself mom Addison is there!!! So is Olivia and charli!!!! I'm going to la to live in an apartment with them so We can persue our dreams and your not stopping me!!!" I yell

"No your not young lady your on house arrest we're locking your door and taking the key!" Yells my dad

"Ugh!!! Oh my god I hate you guys!!!!!! I wish I had different parents" I say slamming my door

I stormed into my room and started packing my bags they can't stop me from going to la! I'm almost an adult once I'm finished packing I'll hide my suitcases in my closet then around midnight I'll sneak out my window and drive to the airport.

I took my suitcases out of my closet and one by one threw them into a bush once done I walked quickly and quietly over to the bathroom to go before I left I opened the door to see my 13 yr old little brother Logan sitting on the floor crying
