CHAPTER-27

The beach day or a hitch day. You don't know what to agree on.

It's not that you hate beaches. It's nice. If you are in the water, stay in the water. If you are on the shore, enjoy with some music or read a book but again, reading will be a terrible idea because of the wind and of course the sand. Mixing both up is not ideal.

When you get out of the water and sand sticks to your body which is not very desirable to you either. Then there are people. Gosh, weekend on the beach is a big no-no, why? People. Lots and lots of people.

Let's be honest. In a way beach is a place for flexing your semi-naked bodies which are not something you desired at all.

Kuroo and you changed into your swimwear in the car. You were too lazy to go to the restroom and stand queues for no reason at all.

"Don't peak," Kuroo said with high pitch voice and defensively covering his bare chest with arms.

You ignored his silly act.

"Okay let's-"

He stopped his sentence in midway and stared at you for a while.

"What?"

"Are you trying to seduce me because it's working but I don't want others to fall into your trap so wear my shirt."

He made you wear his shirt which he had on till the drive to come here. His cologne engulfed you when because of the shirt which made you silent for a while.

"You are not saying anything? Oh, I see, maybe you got blinded by my big guns. Should I flex some more? Like this... Like this?" he showed off his body to you.

You laughed at this and slapped his butt to receive a weird look from him.

"I see, I never knew"

"Knew what?"

"Oh well. Let's head to the beach."

"But seriously, knew what?"
 
He dragged you into the water or to be exact threw you into the water.

"What the hell?"

"This is the beach baby! Enjoy!"

You both splashed water to each other's faces leading to reddened eyes because of the salt. Then you both picked seashells from the beach floor, under the water.

Then Kuroo wanted to just swim a longer distance, away from the shore so you enjoyed the waters near the shore by just floating in the water just like that, facing the sky. It was not very sunny today so your eyes got some blessed view the clouds.

But it did not last long.
Someone yanked your leg into the water and took you deeper into the sea.

This is it. I'm dying.

Then you felt something on your lips. Your eyes were wide open to find Kuroo. Then you resurfaced out of the water, gasping for air.

"(f/n) ~ why you like this?" His arms encircled your waist.

"Excuse *inhales* me what do you *inhales* mean why you like this? I thought I *inhales* was gonna drown and die there."

"If you drown, I can give you mouth to mouth."

You tried your maximum to wiggle out of his grasp but he was stronger.

"Let's try that once again without you drowning."

You gave him a look. A look of you don't get it, do you?

"Fine...Fine...Fine."

Each fine had a long pause for some reason. You knew the reason but you preferred not to rub on it.

He just sank his face on the crook of your neck.

That too didn't last for long.

You both got toppled into the water by some guy.

" What the hell du- Suguru?"

“Well, what do you know, Tetsurou is here with -uh? You have a girlfriend now? Well, well, well. You have finally grown up," said the dark-haired dude eyeing you.

Kuroo protectively puts an arm around you.

" What about you? Finally, got back with Mika chan? "

That's when you noticed the girl who was approaching this Suguru dude. A pretty girl with long brown hair.

" Kuroo san, it's been a long time."

What is happening here?

"Don't greet this cat bastard. He is not worth your time. Come let's go."

"Why are you stealing my dialogue, you snake bastard."

She looked at you apologetically while you meekly smiled at her, letting her know that this is totally fine.

Their bickering was stopped by an announcement.

"This is the last calling. The couple's interested to join the beach volleyball, please come near Anmitsu café."

"The game is on," both Kuroo and Suguru shouted in unison.

What the hell is happening here!!!

Guys, get ready to play some beach volleyball!!

Oh, I forgot to ask, how is the new cover the book? Was the old one better?

Today is the last day of enjoyment for me😭
My class will resume tomorrow.
Wow! I sound depressed. Maybe I am lol.
