Chapter Five: My Crimes to Equestria

When Sombra and I arrived back at the castle, we were delighted to find out Luna had all the guards clear out from the halls in the castle. So we delightfully walked back to our room. But I felt something was wrong and asked him to remain in the shadows of the castle till I knew it was safe. When I walked around the corner and looked at the door, I could see why.

The Mane Six and the other two princesses stood outside of my room. This, of course, made me feel very confused. I walked from around the corner and saw Luna had joined my side but looked angry. 

"(Y/N)! Did you bring back King Sombra, the menace of The Crystal Empire?" Celestia asked with a scornful look. I felt scared and flustered but instead, Luna responded for me.

"Yes he did, but I could tell there was some chance for redemption for Sombra. And I must say, (Y/N) had a very strong amount of knowledge. He was able to use the Relic Reconstitution spell to bring back Sombra. But he did it for a reason I could not have ever imagined." As Luna spoke Celestia, Cadence and Twilight held back their breaths and friends as Luna continued.

"He did it out of love. When Sombra was made into a solid figure, he wasted no time in kissing him, and afterwards told him to hide till he knew it was safe for him. In fact, today was their first date. And the staff at The Tasty Treat agreed that they saw what i saw in them during their date. They are close to each other and it would be wrong to separate them."

Twilight and Celestia had tears in their eyes as did the other Elements. Cadence had no tears to shed, but walked over to (Y/N) and hugged him.

"If you think you can redeem him, then we will give you one year from next week to see how this goes. I just hope that i wont have to regret this decision." I couldn't hold my happiness back at this. I thanked them all, but i could tell the four of them grew concerned.

"We will have to let the kingdom know so they don't freak out about this. Otherwise it could be ve-"

"NONSENSE!" A loud displaced voice shouted in the halls. "I believe that Sombra will be a great pony to become the next redemption villain!" I could tell by the voice and from Luna's lessons that it belonged to Discord.

"But, if you announce that Sombra will be with him to reform as punishment for his crimes against Equestria. I believe that it would be smooth sailing from there." I had to admit this was a good idea even from a villain who could have his head bouncing on the floor and still run around like it was still attached.

I think Celestia understood the idea like i did and quickly prepared arrangements for the mourning, which was just a few moments away. Once the time came however, Luna and Celestia greeted Canterlot and told the city about me and my sister as well as Sombra. At this point, Sombra had come back from the shadows and had on a different outfit than his disguise or his armored suit.

He wore a mauve cape with peach colored fur with magenta spots. and it had the symbol for the Crystal Empire on it. He also had on a grey top hat and had his hair combed. I was stunned by the way he looked but snapped out of it when Celestia called out our names. The crowd actually cheered us and i could tell it made Sombra less tense about the situation.

After the announcement was made, and the ceremony was over, me and Sombra settled into our room and slept the day away.
