the sunset glittering through the soft hello kitty curtains distracted a small girl from packing. her bold [e/c] eyes stared back at the gorgeous multi-colored sky as it softly blew gentle, calming wind through her window. [y/n] had gently smiled at the pleasing feeling of the coolness brushing through her warm room. the heat barely left the air, despite the fact it was 7 pm. it was mid summer, and the young girl was originally supposed to be packing for a trip, but the satisfying shades of purple and yellow had distracted her.
" [y/n] ? have you finished packing ? " said young girl snapped back to her previous task as her older brother, koshi, spoke out to her. " hh, no,, " she spoke, slight guilt lacing her voice. " ,[y/n], it's fine, " koshi began. " here, i'll help you. "
koshi and [y/n]'s parents had left for their own trip a day prior, leaving the two siblings alone. originally, the plan was to find a babysitter for [y/n], but that soon left as an option after [y/n] insisted she could '' take care of herself ''
after an hour or two of packing, they'd finally finished.
