THE SUDDEN CHANGE OF WEATHER CONFUSED EVERYONE.
the heavy downpour of rain mother nature had decided upon was irrational, nobody really liked it.
well, nobody except a (h/c) haired girl and a dark purple haired boy.
goshiki and (y/n) had been watching the rain fall, talking about random things that came to mind for the last hour in a half, which had shocked many of the other boys. the fact the two year-old had been able to sit still so calmly for so long was surprising for a lot. however, goshiki didn't really mind. in fact, he enjoyed the company. the both of them sat at the windowsill, lucky for (y/n) the window was close to the floor, so they would easily be able to look through the large glass.
"ohmygodddd, you guys look so depressed, at least look excited to be soooO bored you're staring at rain!!" semi's eyebrows furrowed at tendou's comment. "that's an inappropriate use of the word 'depressed.' depression is a mental illness, not a joke, let alone the fact it isn't just being sad–" "hey! why don't we go do something actually fun!" tendou said, throwing his arms to the side in an excited matter. this had caught (y/n)'s attention. goshiki and her both turned to look at the red-head. "like what?" tendou tapped his chin in thought. "aha! why don't we go to the pet store???" he said. (y/n) nodded her head vigorously. "LETS GO!!" tendou said, scooping up the (h/c) haired girl running away.

"ok, what do you want to look at first, (y/n)?" shirabu asked, balancing you on his hip. "mmm... puppies!!!" you said, excited. "alright, we're gonna go look at the dogs." shirabu told the team, them nodding in response. once yall pulled up to the spot where doggos were at shirabu put you on the ground so you could go meet them all. you hopped over to one kennel with a little dog in it. he stared at you like "🐶" and you stared back like "😳" before the dog came over to the door of the cage pressing his head to the bars for pets. you smiled and pet the little puppy while giggling. you saw another kennel with a little golden retriever lookin dog in it. your brother loved yellow dogs, he always wanted one, but your family wasn't the richest;;; so your immediate reaction was to run over to her and reach your little hands through the little spaces in between the bars. "puppy" you said, trying to quietly call over the doggy. the small yellow pup cuddled up to your palms, rubbing her head against them. "i love this one" you said to shirabu who smiled. he turned to an employee and said something, before the short brown-haired woman left. being distracted with the little dog made you not notice the lady come back with a clipboard, in which ushijima signed out. the honey brown eyed woman took the dog out of the large kennel, placing her in a smaller carry on one. (THAT SHE FIT IN COMFORTABLY OF COURSEEE)
"lets go, (y/n)." shirabu said, taking ahold of your small hand. you walked into an isle with all sorts of things. collars, leashes, dog beds, and dog toys. semi was holding a basket. "pick whatever you want. and however much you want." he said.

"c' mere, birdie!!!!!" you called to your new golden retriever puppy. the blonde dog ran over to you, licking you all over. tendon smiled, picking you both up. he sat you in the back of the car you all had arrived in before leaving the pet shop behind.

"how do you think sugawara will react?" you smiled. "we've always wanted a puppy, we can afford stuff for one, just not the adoption fees." reon's eyes slightly widened at the ✨high iq✨ of the two year-old.
they pulled up into the parking lot of the training camp, all of them carrying one, two, or three bags of stuff you'd picked out for birdie. honestly, you were incredibly excited. however, the shiratorizawa boys were nervous as for how the girl's older brother would react. all they could do was pray it wouldn't be something negative.
