I was laying on my bed reading a book, looking for Alaska.
I was up to the part when Alaska dies when leo walked in.
"My parents really like you" he told me
I felt my heart flutter as I smiled happily
"That's good"
He laid next to me and I rested my head by his neck.
"Are you ok? you haven't been yourself lately"
"Yeah I'm fine"

"Seriously stella what's wrong?"
He could read me like a book.
"I-I'm just really scared that something is going to happen" I breathed a sigh of relief once I said what I was dying to tell someone.
"Nothing is going to happen now ok, your dad is gone and your safe"
"I know but I'm not the same girl now, I'm scared of almost everything and I absolutely hate being alone"
"That is why I promise to never leave you, no one could ever love someone as much as I you"
He kissed the tip of my nose and my forehead before making his way to my lips.
He makes me feel safe.
For now everything was ok, I was finally happy, everything was finally in place.
But things like that don't last long...

I held Skye's hand tightly and moved closer to her.
"What's got you so cuddly?" She giggled

Those 4 words always made me smile no matter how many times she said them it always made me feel like the happiest person alive.
Over the past few weeks I learnt just how easy you can lose someone you love and even if they come back to you they may never be the same.
I wasn't letting Skye slip away.

John Kingsford has recently escaped from prison.
