Valerie's P.O.V
I got up onto the stage and then the audition began.
"Hello Ms.Valerie So here is a run down of the audition. You are going to say your lines and sing your song to the camera. You will be saying and singing stuff from Annie, ok?" He asked. I had memorized that stuff a few days ago since it was sent out to everyone who had auditioned for the show.
They turned the camera on and told me to slate.
"Hi, I am Valerie Elizabeth Higgins. I am 8 years old and 4foot 3 inches tall. I am from West Berlin, New Jersey. I was born on November 28, 2007. I am auditioning for the roles of July, Tessie, and Annie."
"Ok, good, so Mark can you get Jazzy and Anthony in here? This is the girl that we wanted to do the scene with them." The guy says.
*Pretend Anthony has long hair at this moment*
"Ok!" Mark says and leaves the room before coming back with two people. The guy had long curly hair and the girl also had long hair that was curly.
"Ok so Jazzy you will be saying the lines for Miss. Hannigan And Anthony you will be saying the lines for Warbucks." Mark says as he sits down.
*Note this scene that's about to happen isn't actually in Annie, I just don't feel like pulling my Annie Script out and actually using a real scene*
They both said ok at the same time.
"ACTION!!!" Mark says and we being...
"Miss.Hannigan can you Sign these papers so I can adopt Annie?" The Anthony guy says.
"Oh you wanna adopt Annie, why not another orphan like, July here?" She asks pulling me over.
"I want Annie!" He says a little stern.
"Well her parents are in the other room so you can't have her!" She says.
"Now July tell this man how much you wanna be adopted!" She says to me.
"If you want to adopt Annie you can! Those aren't her real parents!" I say.
"What?" They say at the same time.
"Go to the cellar!" she says as she starts to pull me off stage.
"Listen to me and don't let Annie go!" I scream as I'm pulled off stage.
He looks scared out to the audience before Mark says "Cut!"
We stop and go back onto the stage.
"Ok, that was great! Anthony And Jazzy you guys can go wait down here with us, Valerie can you sing Tomorrow?"Mark asks as Anthony and Jazzy walk off the stage.
"Yea! Where do you want me to stop?" I ask.
"We'll tell you when to stop."
I get ready then look up and the music starts...

I hold out the away before stopping. They started clapping and my mom, Anthony, And Jazzy all stood up and clapped.
"That was fabulous, we are going to talk real quickly then call you back in." Mark says and we are taken with Anthony and Jazzy backstage the building to wait.
*This is NOT how auditions really work, but pretend it is*
We sat in silence for a few minutes before Anthony spoke and said "Valerie you are an amazing singer."
"Yeah, have you been on Broadway?" Jazzy asks.
"No, but I One day want to be." I say. They both looked a little shocked.
"Well, I'm a hundred percent sure that you got the role of Annie, or an orphan!" Jazzy says.
"I hope So." I say.
Then Mark called me back into the Audition room.
"So Valerie stand on the stage and we have a question for you." He says sitting down.
I stand up on the stage like he had directed me to then asked "What is it?"
"Do you want the role of July?" He asks.
I said "Yes."
"Well, you got the role!" He says and I start crying. Anthony and Jazzy walk up onto the stage and hug me.
We discussed everything and I signed the contract. I also found out that along with being July, I would understudy every orphan as well. I wasn't going to be the only July though because of Child Labor Laws and that stuff. I would find out my other alternate at the first rehersal!
We went home and I went to sleep since I was tired.
