Are the beginnings of the Fourth Era. Our beloved Spinel acquired the title "Great Spinel" as the successor to Pink Diamond, a title given by Diamonds at the beginning of the Fourth Era.
The gem comunity has severe problems caused by the post-war depression created by the Dark War of the Third Era.
By decree of the Diamonds, the creation of spinels was resumed to help millions of gems recover from their depression.

Characters:
Spinel: Since the Fourth Era began, Spinel has created new feelings of sadness and hatred. She was named "Great Spinel" (replacement for Pink Diamond) by the other Diamonds, so now she has many responsibilities to think about and that has gradually put pressure on her, creating irritability and annoyance.
Due to the events of the Dark War and losing the company of Pink Pearl, Spinel once again felt abandoned by a gem she loved, so her aggressive feelings returned. To avoid hurting or involving other gems, Spinel decided to shut down and keep her feelings to herself well, so she avoids everyone who wants to help her. Yet she tries to always seem in control and ignore her anger all the time.
Peeps: Pink Pearl, called "Peeps" by Homeworld gems, also called "Volley" by Terrans, she is an innocent, submissive and often powerless gem. Due to all the traumas of the previous Eras, she decided to isolate herself, meditate and find herself. In the beginning, before being possessed by White Diamond in the First Era, she had a very close relationship with Spinel in her newborn phase. After the Third Age, Spinel tried to back to this relationship with her, but it didn't work.
Spinel-IA: (pronounced Spinelia) She is the second largest of the quartet. It was born a few decades after the first spinel kindergarden was created.

Spinel-IA is the love of the group, as she was born, she was quickly looking for someone to stick with to give her a little of her love, once she met Spinel, Spinel-IA fell in love with her, and with her childish attitude, she always shows him that won't leave her alone.
Spinel-E: (pronounced Spineleh) It is the oldes spinel of the quartet. In fact, she was born in the first spinel kindergarden of Fourth Era.

Because she is a bit more mature than the other 3, Spinel-E takes on a role of "leader" of the quartet, but has a deep admiration for Spinel, and wishes to learn from her how to be a better leader.
Spinel-EE: (pronounced Spinely) is the youngest of the quartet, she was born hours later than Spinel-IA and Spinel-J, in the same kindergarden, but in a different section. (She took time to born)

Spinel-EE is the childish and fun of the group. It had complications when it was being created and when it was born, it is "semi-defective" so it presents deformations in its eyes and speaks in a very underdeveloped way.
Spinel-J: (pronounced Spineljey) She is the one in the middle of the quartet. She was born minutes later than Spinel-IA, in the same kindergarden, but in a different section.

Spinel-J is the one who cares about keeping the group together, she is extremely scary and worried, she always takes care that the group is happy and at ease, she does not like disputes. Has a close relationship with Spinel-EE
Whitearl: It is the current White Diamond's assistant pearl. Although, since the Third Era there is no law that says that one gem belongs to another, in the Fourth Era the laws of responsibilities and collective work were created. White Pearl, nicknamed "Whitearl" by White, decided to be White's assistant on her own at the beginning of the Fourth Era, after the Dark War.
Cherry: Cherry is a spinel part of the Second Division Crystal Gems leaders in Earth. She was a therapist for Gems with post-war depression during and after the Dark War, but has lately stepped away from this work and focused on her own traumas.
Major Emerald: Red emerald, which during the First Eras was part of the war commanders of the Diamonds. Since there was peace and the laws of the gems changed, she was demoted to being the leader administrator of the kindergarden planet of spinels.
