Hi guys sorry for the long wait! Here's a fluffy chapter for you😊 Also this book kind of blew up👀 And sorry if the chapter seems rushed or confusing, I wrote the beginning before I went to college and the middle and end while I'm at college so I kind of forgot some stuff that I could have wrote earlier and I'm too tired/lazy to go over it right now... Enjoy!!

===========================

Taehyung nervously looks around the tiny house as Jeongguk tends to the screeching teapot in the kitchen. Taehyung was left in the living room with Jeongguk's younger brothers trying to force Taehyung to play with them. He kindly told the two he had a long day and just ended up watching them play around with their action figures.

Jeongguk returns a minute later with two teacups and places them down on the coffee table and sits next to Taehyung. They awkwardly sit next to each other in silence and sip on their sweet chai tea to warm themselves up. Jeongguk glances over Taehyung for a second before returning his gaze back to his brothers' play fighting in front of them.

"So... How's life," Jeongguk randomly asked once the silence bothered him too much.

Taehyung shrugs as he sets his tea back down on the table. "Been hanging with the guys, got a girlfriend, parents are back from their business trip but are leaving for a vacation later tonight so it's pretty good, I would say."

Jeongguk nods, ignoring the fact that his heart ached a little bit hearing Taehyung mention, Trinity. He doesn't like him referring to her as 'girlfriend', it just doesn't seem right. One minute, he's head over heels for Jeongguk, and the next he already moved on to a new bitch- girl.

"Sounds nice... I've been pretty decent," Jeongguk mumbles.

The thick silence returns and the male just awkwardly sit there. How is Jeongguk supposed to act when he's been ignoring the guy that liked him for a whole month. They just can't go back into a casual conversation, it takes time and understanding to return to that point.

"Your brothers left, wanna hang out in your room? I always wanted to meet your dragon pillow," Taehyung suddenly asked.

Jeongguk is surprised by his sudden question. This is not how he thought this night would go. He thought it would be awkward until the rain stopped and Taehyung would leave. Now, apparently they're just going to chill in his room. Jeongguk slowly nods as he stands up. They abandon their teacups on the table as they exit the living room to head down the hallway to Jeongguk's room.

Taehyung curiously looked around the house with a little bit of shock displayed on his face. He's never been inside a poor person's house before so this was all new to him. The way the walls were so close and the roof was low, almost reaching Taehyung's head. The walls were painted beige and they're bare giving the house no character. No pictures or anything.

Once they reach Jeongguk's room, the smaller boy jumps on the bed and quickly cuddles the small dragon pillow in his arms. Taehyung smiles at the familiar sight as he sits on the edge of the bed after closing the door. He looks around at the white walls decorated in various gaming posters, mostly things about Dungeons and Dragons. He then looks over at the window and fondly smiles.

"This room totally suits you," Taehyung comments as he continues to look around.

Jeongguk shyly nods as he pushes himself against the headrest so he can be as far as possible from Taehyung. "My room is the only room with a giant window inside it and I hate the sight of plain walls so I just... Had to put something on it. Now that I look at it, it's kind of embarrassing."

Taehyung chuckles as he lay back on the bed. "I think it's adorable. You don't have to be embarrassed about that Gguk."

A small smile etches across Jeongguk's face while a light blush tints his cheeks. He lowers his head into his pillow to hide the bottom half of his face. This is what he missed most about Taehyung. The random nice comments and the subtle flirting, it was nice gaining that kind of attention from the older male. He doesn't know why but receiving those small comments just made his heart race and a smile stretch across his face.
