===========================

Jeongguk checks around every corner before turning down another hall in their gigantic school. He's avoiding Taehyung as much as possible, following what Trinity has demanded of him. It's been at least three days since that event and he hasn't seen Taehyung once. He's been talking to the rest of the boys but not Taehyung. He isn't worthy of being in Taehyung's presence.

"Why do you look so suspicious," he suddenly hears a deep voice from behind him.

He slightly jumps at the sudden appearance of another male and quickly turns around to see who has given him that scare. His shoulders relax once seeing Minah behind him. "You scared me," he sighs, turning back around to check if the close is clear from Taehyung's presence. Once again, it is.

"I'm just... Being extra cautious today. I had a bad dream about some bullies so I'm being careful to not encounter anyone," he lies.

Minah coos as he quickly grabs Jeongguk's wrist and pulls him close to his body. He engulfs Jeongguk in a hug, resting his chin on the smaller male's shoulder. "You don't have to worry Gguk. Remember, I'm your personal bodyguard. I'll protect you from anyone and everyone. No one will dare to lay a fucking finger on you," Minah grumbles in a deep, eerie tone.

Jeongguk immediately melts in his boyfriend's hold, the familiar strong arms around him giving him some sort of protection and secure feeling that he'll always be safe. He clutches onto Minah's shirt as he closes his eyes and relaxes into the latter's arms. He breathes in his cedar pine scent that he has become accustomed to and is a natural relaxing scent for him.

"You alright Gguk," Minah asks after a few minutes into their hug.

Jeongguk nods. "I'm fine, don't worry. Just a bit-"

"There you are," another deep and all too familiar voice says.

Jeongguk's eyes pop open as he whips his head around to see Taehyung. He squeaks (yes an actual high pitched squeak) before pushing away from Minah and running off in another direction. "I'll see you later babe!"

Minah opens his mouth to say something but is too late, Jeongguk is already out of their sights. He turns his head towards the group of boys in front of him. He glares at Taehyung before tsking and walking past them to his next class.

Taehyung furrowed his eyebrows as he behind him at the rude male. He's always too arrogant for his own good, one of the reasons why Taehyung doesn't like him. But he's with Jeongguk so he has to put up with his ass in order to make the adorable younger boy like him.

"So it's true, he is avoiding you," Jin speaks up first, gaze glued to Jimin's phone as he looks through the male's messages.

Taehyung's eyes widened as he turned towards the slightly taller male. His face is then replaced with a sadden expression as he tilts his head down and nods. "I had my suspicions ever since the first day he ran away from me. It's odd. Exactly four days ago we were all buddy-buddy again, he was even acting weird. A bit more clingy to me you know? Suddenly, he is avoiding me at all costs like I'm the plague. I wonder if I did something?"

"You kicked his shin," Jimin points out, his gaze also glued to his phone hoping Jin doesn't snoop too far into his messages with Yoongi.

Taehyung rolls his eyes. "Jimin you know him just as well as I do. He would not get mad and cry about a hurt shin for four days. It would make sense if he was salty about it for a day but not four... This just doesn't make sense though. What the fuck did I do? He's not avoiding you guys, just me!"
