T.H.E D.A.T.E Part 4

"I can't believe I'm actually doing this." mumbled Willow as she looked at herself in the mirror. She was getting ready for her "date" but was standing on ends. She knew Jason since kindergarten, he was a shy boy, but she thought of him as a very cute boy. She couldn't even think straight when she was near him, especially when she saw his potential as a Kid Next Door operative. He was a natural born leader, all he needed was more confidence in himself and she wanted to give it him. She had to convince #86,90 to give him a chance to prove himself. She was never more happy to help him train and see him graduate. When she was finally assigned to a tree, she was super excited to see it was the same treehouse as him. Ever since then, she had the best mission by his side, but this will be the first solo mission with him. She was super scared.

"Sweetheart? Are you ok in there?" Willow's mom, Kuki Beatles asked while coming inside. "Oh, yeah, hey Mom." she shyly. "Why so fancy, are you going on a date?" Kuki teased. "It's just a mission Mom, not a real date!" she claimed while turning bright red. "I'm just teasing Tiger, but you seem very nervous. Usually you are pumped up and aggressive for you playful missions." Willow sighed. "Mom, have you ever been alone with Dad as a kid?" Kuki giggled as the memories falsely erased from her mind come back of her moments with Wally. "Well you see, I don't remember much of my childhood, but one thing I never forgot was when I meet your dad. I was so shy and so excited to be friends with him. I won't forget the first time we did a "project" together alone, I was so scared and so excited, but it all turned out amazing. So don't let fear stop you from making amazing memories."

Willow smiled and hugged her mom. "Thanks Mom." "Anytime my little tiger." "Oh and Mom, can we keep this a secret from the boys?" "Of course."

"Ok, ok, Jason, there is nothing to worry about. It's just a mission. A solo mission with the girl I'm head over heels for!!!!!" He screamed at himself. Jason was on his way to Willow's house so they could go to the fair together. He couldn't keep his cool. He was going on a date with the girl he likes, a fake date, but it was still a date. He remembers the first time he saw her, he was just looking at the new house his family was moving into when he saw her fighting with a teenager. He was so surprised to see a cute girl be so ruff and tough, but his heart was starstruk. When they became friends and she invited him to be a KND, he felt he wasn't tough enough for her or the KND. He was always made fun of, but Willow's encouragement made him fight to become one of the best operatives and a boy tough enough for her. Still, still he couldn't help but feel his stomach turn over just by thinking he'll be ALONE with her.

"Ok Dude, this is it." he said to himself while knocking on the door. To his surprise, it was Dr. Wallabe Beatles that opened the door. "H-hey Dr. Beatles." "Oh, hey Jason, the boys are already heading towards the fair, Willow seems to be waiting for Olivia." "Actually Dr. Beatles, I'm taking Willow to the fair." Wallabe is like stone. His precious little princess is going on a date???!!! Before he could say anything Willow can speeding down the stairs. "Hey Dad, we'll be at the fair, see you later." She said rapidly while taking Jason's hand and running out the house. "Wait a minute, what is going on here, when did this....." "I love you Mom and Dad!"

"But your too young...." mumbled Wallabe. "Oh come on Wally, don't you remember our solo missions? We were the same age as them." Said Kuki while giving her husband a hug. "Yeah I know, it seems so long ago, but this seems to be too soon now." he said as he reviews his memories of his childhood with his wife to the birth of his only daughter. "Oh relax, she'll be fine, we raised her." "Yeah, you're right." "Now come on let's watch some classic rainbow monkey movies." "OH COME ON! Not that again!"

"Ok we're here at the fair." said Jason. "Yeah." giggled Willow. They were completely red, not knowing what to do. "I'll send the alert to the team that we're here, then we, hmn I guess we walk around for a while." "Ok sounds great." Once inside, they walked in silence, but they looked into each others eyes and smiled. They knew what they felt, but it didn't need to be said, at least not yet.
