a dark night of a forgotten past

The night was dark a fire raging through a forest two kids running one a wolf with greenish blue eyes wearing gloves on his hands, behind the wolf was a smaller dark scailed dragon his white eyes filled with fear and sorrow as he holds onto the bigger wolf hand. "Don't worry, we are almost at the river. You'll be safe, prince." The wolf would stop and hide behind a tree holding the smaller dragon close to his body as several guards with torches run past them each guard armed with a dagger trying to find someone, chopping away at branches and burning bushes the young dragon started to tear up against the wolf "why must father want me dead, what did I do in my prophecy to be hunted." The wolf started to pat his head softly "dont worry prince i promise I won't let anything or anyone harm you and my name is josh" Josh smiled laying his head against the prince head a black flame forming in his hand as the flame took the shape of a sword a dark cloak forming around Josh with josh placing the cloak around the dragon "wear this and it will protect you from the flames now run shin" Josh pushes shin aside running making flames appear as he has the guards all follow behind him as shin runs towards the river a soft tune was heard as the prince stops listing "here my call of pleas lead this food to my son on the other side may this song reach you son here from the edge of the river" shin slowly started to walk towards the sound of where the song was coming from peaking from a tree stood a female in a red robe with long silky black hair as the woman gasped softly spotting shin "s-shin your majesty I heard your wanted" the woman sees a few torches coming into the distance as light forms "come quick now" the woman rushes and grabs shin arm leading him to the basket as she sits shin on a small raft as she starts to chant "may this boy magic cast a shadow to keep him from prying eyes with my sons name I call for your blessing Ken my son may your name guied this boy safely on the river please my son Ken help this boy find a old friend of mine please son help him find "John." " she pushes the raft as the guards show up shortly after the woman covering her head with her red hood as the spell slowly put shin in a sleepy state laying on his side a paper forming with the name Ken as the raft carries shin down the river out of the kingdom of fire starting the journey of a life that will never be the same.
