Alexandra's P.O.V.
I walk into the cafeteria to get my lunch like every other day and everything seems normal. All the geeks at their table in the left back corner, the druggies at theirs on the opposite side of the room, and all the others, including the "popular" table in the middle of the room. This was the middle of my junior year in high school and I had been here since the end of my eighth grade, when me ad my brothers moved into town. Since the first day that I had been here, I had learned that they weren't only popular, but they were also complete drama queens, and honestly I think hell is about to break loose. I can just feel it in the air.
"What the hell! You whore!" Casey suddenly shrieks, pushing all of Stacey's food including her tray from the table and onto the floor. The lunch hall became uneasily quiet and everyone was now paying attention at what was happening in the middle of the room.
"What the heck Casey!"
"You are such a bitch, and to think I actually trusted you."
"What are you talking about? I didn't do anything! What did I do!?" Their voices were so annoying, they sounded just like nails on a black board.
"Oh come on, you hooked up with Mike last night! You fucking whore! You know how much I like him! What the hell is wrong with you!?"
"What are you talking about? I was at your house last night-"
"Don't give me that crap! Just leave!" Casey said not even letting Stacey explain herself.
Wow, that was so intense. Note the sarcasm. I can't believe Casey actually accused her of doing that, I mean, they were best friends and all. I can't believe she would just do that. I guess Stacey was becoming way too popular for Casey to handle.
Here is the thing about Casey. She is the queen bee of this school. She doesn't really bully people, because she has people do that for her, but she is a total bitch. She wouldn't be able to stand the fact that there are people who are prettier and more popular than her. She would be completely and utterly destroyed, so before her friends get more popular than her, she cuts them loose. Believe me, I know from experience. But whatever.
I was jolted back to reality by a crying Stacey pushing past me. Gosh, people these days are so melodramatic, it's not like their life is over.
I make my way over to the lunch line and pick up my regular lunch. A salad, an apple, a cookie, and pizza. I´m trying to eat healthier since I´m like 125 pounds and I’m only 5 ft. 6 inches, but I really do love pizza and cookies, so YOLO, I´ll just run it off later. Or maybe not.
After paying I start making my way out of the lunch hall like every other day and into detention. Yeah. I'm a bad girl, and I drink, and I party, and I do a bunch of crazy stuff. But you can blame that on my parents, because I haven´t seen them in God knows how long, and Liam, Caleb, and Logan aren't exactly the best role models considering that they do even worse stuff than I do.
You see, when I was like thirteen, I had to leave my home and parents, with Liam and Caleb, and I understand it was for our safety and all, but I would like to know more about all of what is going on.
