Chapter 4: Traitor?

Norman placed a bag under his bed, silently looking up in thought as his eyes narrowed slightly.

"So how has living here been?" Isabella asked with a smile.

"Oh, this is a wonderful House. All of these children are smart and well-behaved." Krone said nervously.

"Indeed! All of these children are also very adorable!" Marline said with a big smile.

"I see." Isabella said and slightly lowered her head, "Lately you've been following instructions and being well-behaved as well, Krone. You're also doing well, Marline."

"Yes," Krone said with gritted teeth.

"Yay!"

'She still hasn't changed.' Isabella thought with a smile. She then turned to Krone.

"You try to get along with the children, and play tag with all your strength. I was worried because you were a tomboy, but it looks like you're fine. You are insurance. Insurance that I called for, just in case, to make sure the products are protected. So you don't need to know which one knows the secret, and just pretend to be obedient, work hard, and laugh that you've grasped some sort of weakness over me."

"I wouldn't think of..." Krone's forehead collected sweat that slowly slid down her cheek.

"You have nothing else to do than be my pawn, right? If you behave..."

Isabella got up and walked around her table to come face to face with Krone.

"I'll make sure that you become a Mom. I promise."

Isabella put a hand on Krone's cheek, "You're a smart girl. Don't make any more mistakes from now on."

Isabella turned to Marline, "I would like you to stay with me a for a little while. Would you like some tea?"

Marline smiled lightly, "Of course."

Krone closed the door behind her, a weird aura surrounding her. She slowly walked into her shared bedroom, walking toward her doll.

She gently grabbed it, staring into its blank eyes.

She gritted her teeth, her hold on the doll growing tighter. She grabbed its head and pulled, the stuffing coming out, "That woman!" She yelled in anger.

She threw both the doll's head and body to the ground, stomping on it, "Just you watch! I'll drag you down!" She suddenly stopped, out of breath. She then giggled, looking up with a smile, "And then... I will be mom."
