Read the story from @SupergirlDY2 it's really good :).

Milo has my whole heart, and I don't nearly see enough about him.

The day started like any other. A tree through the window, a leaky sink-turned-geyser, and dog slobber on his shoes were like any other day for Milo Murphy. Although he didn't know that his life would change for the better.

And it all began with a knock.

Knock knock knock

"Milo! (Y/n)'s here!" Mrs. Murphy called to her son from the kitchen.

Milo felt a small smile spread onto his cheeks. "Okay! I'll be down in a sec!" Milo looked in the mirror, gasping slightly when he saw his cheeks tinted red. He patted his cheeks, trying to erase some of the redness. "She's just a friend. A friend you've had for ten years. A nice, understanding, pretty friend." Milo tried convincing himself.

"It better be Murphy's law keeping you! Don't make me come up there!" Milo could hear (Y/n) calling.

Milo chuckled, "And impatient." Milo rushed to fix his new shoes, tucked his new phone in his pocket, and slipped on his backpack. As he rushed to his bedroom door, a figure made him stop in his tracks. "(Y/n)!"

"Murphy, why are we late today?" (Y/n) raised an eyebrow, leaning against the doorframe with a smirk.

Milo smiled, knowing his best friend was just being dramatic. "The geyser through the faucet - had to change twice. Once for the water, two for slipping...again." Milo explained.

"Well, we're not actually late, just late to be early." (Y/n) shrugged. "We only have a few minutes though, so vamanos hermano!" (Y/n) spoke, turning on her heel and marching through the house.

Milo grinned, following, only to hear crashes through the hall. "(Y/n)?!" He called, rushing to follow the said girl. He saw her at the bottom of the stairs, on her back with Diogee, Milo's dog,  on her chest. He chuckled after seeing no injuries. "Diogee on the third step?"

"I feel like I trip over him every time!" (Y/n) complained, but scratched Diogee behind his ear. The dog wagged his tail at the attention and then hopped off his owner's friend. "Good boy, Diogee."

That was something Milo loved, yes loved, about his best friend. It doesn't matter what happens to her, it wasn't ever anyone else's fault. She's never blamed Milo, his father, or even Diogee. After all, it wasn't their fault that anything bad that could happen would happen. Murphy's law wasn't a choice.

"Milo? You have that goofy smile that you get when you're thinking too hard." (Y/n) seemed to suddenly pop up in front of Milo with that cute head tilt and smirk.

"Huh?" Milo shook his head to rid himself of his thoughts (for now). "Sorry, I'm good now. Let's go, we don't want to be late to be early do we?" Milo teased, walking out of the door quickly.

A gasp echoed behind Milo, making him giggle. "Milo!" (Y/n) called, rushing after her best friend. "Bye, Mrs. Murphy!" (Y/n) yelled, shutting the door behind her.

"Bye, (Y/n)! Bye, Milo!" Mrs. Murphy grinned, looking at the front door fondly. "Milo's gonna marry that kid." She determined with a nod, going back to work with a smile.

The two teens walked down the street to the bus stop, talking about anything and everything. However, the topic happened to be on Milo for the moment.

"One hundred and twenty-seven." (Y/n) affirmed.

"I think you're a little off."

"Nope, one hundred and twenty-seven scars, including that new one. Don't think I didn't notice." (Y/n) smirked, pointing to the new scar on Milo's left arm.
