Chapter 16: Out In The Open

Alison's Pov

"That's what happened," Rebekah finished.

"I can't believe you," I tell as tears fall from my eyes.

"That's why mothers can't be trusted," Courtney states coldly.

Rebekah tried to touch me but I backed away.

"You lied to me. I should of saw this coming! I should of never gave in," I stated.

"Alison.... Is everything ok,"

I look at the stairs and Emily looks super confused. I can't explain to her... Not now. I quickly speed run out the door and ran to the cave where I did the ceremony for my clan.

I sat down on the ground and stared at the water. The really blue water moving slowly. Their must be a tide.

"I knew I could trust my senses."

I quickly got up and looked at Emily walking over to me.

"How did you find me," I ask.

"By tracking your sent,"

I just laugh a little and fall on the ground and keep staring at the water.

"What happened back their," Emily questioned as she sat next to me.

"Well that was a family fight," I blurt out.

"What,"

"Rebekah is my birth mother and the girl that looked so identical to me. Is my twin sister Courtney.... Rebekah lied to me about how everything went down when I was little. She had the story, but just left my sister out," I explain as I begin to fall apart.

Emily quickly hugs me as I cry into her arms.

"I'm here for you," Emily whispered.

Emily rocking me back and forth why I try to calm down.

Emily's Pov

It's been a couple of hours and I look down at Alison and she is asleep. I pick her up and walk to Rebekah's home. I don't want to speed run because I have no idea if it might wake her up.

I get to the house and slowly go through the back door and lie her down on her bed. I kiss her on the forehead and walk out. I speed run down stairs and grab Rebekah and slam her against a wall.

"I can't believe you would lie to Ali. She trusted you! Now she has a broken heart AGAIN," I state with gritted teeth.

"Emily... I said to her I was sorry and I been liking you because of how well you treat my daughter bu-,"

"Your daughter! You dont get to call her daughter because your are not acting a like a mother," I state as I tighten my grip on her neck.

Rebekah grabs me and threw me and I hit the wall. I get up and my eyes and face starts changing.

Alison's Pov

"Hello," I yell as I am standing in the middle of the woods at night.

I heard a crack and I shot my head to the direction of the sound. I step a little closer and inspect the area.

"Hello." I yell again.

"Hello Alison,"

I quickly turn around and theirs this girl standing in front of me.

"Who are you and where am I," I ask straight away.

"You really don't know what you can do. How strong the power you and your sister was born with," The girl said as she crossed her arms.
