We drove to Avani's house and went inside

J: hi!

I ran to him and jumped in his arms, I wrapped my legs around his waist and hugged him tighter
Pat: *whisper* how's you're mom?
J: *whisper* she's better stubborn but she's a lot better
He kissed my head and hugged me again
Avani: soooooo lets go to your house I haven't see auntie (Avani is not your cousin y'all are just super close) in forever
J: yeah for sure
Pay: go pack a bag Vani I'll do the same
J: I'll wait for you guys in the car
I sat in the drivers seat and saw Patrick rushing downstairs and into the passenger seat

I laughed a little and Avani got in the back
J: Van you could've called shotgun
She rolled her eyes and me and Patty laughed a little and drove back to my house blasting music singing our hearts out

Mom: hon- Avani? Come give me a hug
J: mom!!! Bed now!! I don't need you back in the hospital!

J: who are you?!
Mom: honey loose the attitude, he took me on a very nice date
J: I don't care! Get him out of the house and you go back to bed!
Avani: I'll look around

J: NO HES NOT GET HIM OUT!

Joseph: it's ok I'll leave
J: yeah bye! We won't miss you

I ran up the stairs and slammed my door

I saw her yelling and really mad and hurt but what hurt me the most is when she ran up and slammed her door, she hasn't done that since her dad died
I sat in front of her door with my head against the door

She slightly opened the door as I saw the tear stains, I quickly went in and shut the door

I picked her up and she wrapped her larga around me while she cried
J: why would she do that?
Pat: I know I know, do you wanna go get food and ice cream?
J: yeah, I'll drive Van home first
She went to wash her face and then told Avani so that she could take her home

We got in the car

I dropped her off and me and Patrick had a blast

He ruffled my hair and laughed, and well I took him home and went home to bed
