And now our bodies are the guilty ones
Our touch will fill every hour
Huge and dark oh our hearts
Will mummer the blues from on high
And whisper some silver reply

I groaned and turned around in Moritz's arms now facing away from him. Trying my best not to wake him I wiggled out of his arms. Once free I sat up and fixed my dress. Looking around at my surroundings I got lost in a daze of the fields of flowers surrounding us. Smiling slightly I grabbed a sandwich from the basket that was discarded on the floor after things got heated last night.

I was about to take my first bite when a pair of arms wrapped around me. I turned just enough to see Moritz staring at me sleepily.
"Good morning. Sleep well?" He smiled and gave a tired nod.
"Yeah. So have you made up your mind yet? Will you go with me? I want to leave by tonight so..."
I sighed and turned towards him out of his grasp. But before I could respond he cut me off, "But before you answer, I need you to go. You are the happiness in my life and without you, it'll be darkness and sadness. And I don't do sadness."

I sighed and thought. What do I have here? My dad doesn't love me and Moritz and Melchior are my only friends. Besides Melchior will get along fine without us.
"Okay fine." He smiled the brightest smile and eloped me in a bone-crushing hug.
"But, I have to go home and grab a few things first. Meet me at my house at noon okay?" He smiled and nodded pecking my lips before ushering me away towards my house.

Once I got home I went through my house quietly. Not wanting to wake my father and get him mad. Not like it matters there was nothing he could do. I was leaving and that was that.

I tiptoed to my room taking off my boots so I wouldn't make any unnecessary noises. I grabbed a bag and threw some clothes, a book, some money, and lots of snacks in.  Once I was finished I looked at the time. 11:30 he should be here soon. Grabbing my bag and my boots I went to tiptoe outside to wait for him when a loud bang made me jump and drop my belongings.

I whipped around to see my father fuming. His face was red his big strong hands clutched at his sides in a fist. He was furious.

"Hello, father. I was just heading off to school." I had to be calm or he would go off. He was like a bomb and if I said the wrong thing he would explode.
"On a Sunday?" Shit busted. He took wide steps towards me stopping right in front of me.
"Now where were you last night?" I didn't answer scared of what he'd say. He leaned close and sniffed me. (Not W E I R D at all nope nothing to see here)
"You reek of sex. Now I'm going to ask you one last time. Where were you last night."
"I-I was out with Moritz. We're running away and there's nothing you can do to stop us.

I thought he'd be mad. That he'd hit me and declare that I could not go. However, instead, he laughed. He placed his hand gently on the back of my neck and guided me to the sofa. Sitting me down he looked at me with a bright smile.
"You're leaving! That's funny. Now tell me the truth come on I won't be mad." He didn't believe me.
"Father we're leaving at noon and that the truth. Now, if would excuse me I have to go-" I stood up to leave but he pushed me down before I could stand all the way. He gave another laugh before grabbing the back of my neck tighter this time.

"Oh, you aren't going anywhere."
