春過ぎて
夏来にけらし
白妙の
衣ほすてふ
天の香具山
Spring ends and summer comes
The spring has passed
And the summer come again;
For the silk-white robes,
So they say, are spread to dry
On the "Mount of Heaven's Perfume."

Comments:
The silk white robes meaning the white summer mist, which is blowing to the "mount of heaven's perfume" which metaphorically refers to the mount Kaguyama.
Mount Kaguyama is believed to be the 'home of Gods' according to the Japanese tradition.
My interpretation of the poem is that the present set of circumstances is as beautiful as the work of heavenly women, but the time has come, to enter a new phase in life.
