Chapter One- Years ago

Nate POV

"Nathan, baby are you coming tonight?" Macy's annoying voice blasted through my phone which was laying on my dresser. She was a common fling, wanting to know if I planed on letting her hang off my arm at my buddy Austin's party tonight. "Nah Macy, I'm going to stay home. Uh I have to go bye bae." *click* I was glad to get off the phone with her. I had been messing with my dresser and a folded paper fell out. I was egar to know what it was. My smile quickly faded as I seen the writing on one of the folded parts.. I knew it was her handwritting. I read it aloud slowly, "Nathan Micheal Charles Himinez, my dearest Mexican!! As you guessed it's me love and this is my favorite picture of us, from when we were 8 years old! Anyways this is the only copy and I wanted it safe so if you find it keep it safe for when we grow old together!~ Love you, Nina Addylin 1-16-2010" That was 5 years ago. Damn I need new furniture. I wasn't 13 anymore. Nina wasn't around anymore. God I missed that bitch. That beautiful bitch. Nina Addylin Rodes was forced by her parents to leave me the summer after she wrote that note to me in January 2010. I had to find her. I am 18 now and so is she.. I promised her I'd find her.

I quickly ran over to my computer. With her picture grasp tightly in my finger tips. Damn my sweet Nina. I opened my browser and typed in www.facebook.com. I quickly typed in 'Nina Rodes', nothing for her came up so I thought hard. I tried Nina Bae, Nina Add Rose, then I saw those beautiful eyes I knew and loved. Nina Addylin, damn she was so beautiful. She lived in Alabama now. Culman, Alabama. Gosh Nina so far from me. So far from where you belong. I sent her a friend request and waited. New Message, holy shit. I got a message is it her?? I clicked the tabs!!

Messages:
Macy Jade Himinez: "hey sexxy saw you were online I loveee you honey xoxo"

I slammed my pencils onto the floor. I got excited for no reason. Dammit. Mace.

I typed back hesitaintly, "hey, babe..."

Macy Jade Himinez: "what's going on lovely man of mine?"

Nathan Charles Himinez: Mace we aren't married.....

Macy Jade Himinez: Buttttt we will be soon!

Nathan Charles Himinez: Youre only 16, chill babe.

Macy Jade Himinez: Come chill with me baby!

Nathan Charles Himinez: I'm busy..

Macy Jade Himinez: Nate... LOVE ME

GETS OFFLINE

I suddlenly have an idea my baby sister always kept intouch with Nina's family because she has had a huge crush on Nina's brother since she was like 3 and a half. Not thinking correctly I grabed my keys and ran upstairs, I had to find my sweet Nina! "Alex!", I shouted as I came close to the top of the stairs. "In here, Nate" she replyed from behind her white bedroom door. I walked inside, blinded by all the pink stuff she had in there! It was like a fairy had exploded all over my baby sisters room! Pink glitter and blankets. Uh, okay task at hand: NINA. "Hey Al do you remember Nina?" "OMMMMGEEEE" she squelled loudly.

"I LOVE NINA!"

"Where can I find her Alex"

"Papa Chey's Bar and Grill in Cullman Alabamma, why? You love her or something"

"I promised I'd find her."

"I may have her Number...."

"Give it to me please" I pleaded with her until she said yes.

Walking out of Alex's very pretty pink room with a smile on my face I hurried down stairs and out the front door. Unlocking my black ford truck and sliding inside. I fished my phone out of my pocket and prepared to text the number Alex had given me. Nina's number. My Nina.. I wondered what my Nina was up to after all of these years. Gosh. Okay pull it together and think what do I say to this girl?

I was such a dumb ass, why would I not say more. I'm so dumb some times. My phone buzed in my lad as I started my truck. Fumbling with the seat belt I answered it quickly, "hey what's going on?". Surprised by Mace's annoying stroll voice, he drowned putting his truck in reverse and continuing  to talk to his girlfried. "Baby! You answered, I miss you what are you doing".  "Um I'm doing meeee, what are you doing babe?" "Ugh just home alone" "I'm losing service I gotta go babe" "be safe I love you" "ok macey". Nate was going to do something shoching.. he was going to surprise his girlfriend. He sped toward Krogers and ran into get some daffodils. Walking back to his truck he spotted a Star Bucks and drove over ordering two cake pops and an medium iced mocha. 10 minutes later he was pulling up at Macey's  house and grabbed her surprise and headed in! She was startled and relieved when Nathan opened the door. Creeping into the house using the spare key he pulled Macey into a hug and said "shhh Mace it's just me!" Macey balled up her little fist and playfully punched Nathan in the tummy. "Nate!! Omg, I loveeeee you!" He pulled her in for a kiss and told her he loves her too. Then Macey began to brag about how all her friends were wrong and telling Nathan that she was so happy things are starting to get better for them. Then about three forths of the way through The Note Book, Nates phone vibrates. Macey asleep in his arms, and he needed a way to escape. He glanced at his phone it was a short message from what he could see; from an unsaved number.  Oh Lord he thought it must be Nina. "Fuck", Nate muttered at he accidently let Macey's face fall a few inches from his shoulder before carfully catching it and laying her down beside him. He kissed her forhead sloppy like, as he reached for his keys and sneakily  snuck out of her house as he had snuck inside merely 3 or 4 hours ago. He was feeling like a pretty great boyfriend at that point, because really no-one could handle her.
