Hey sorry about not updating for a long long time! I've come to the conclusion that this is going to be the last chapter of the book. It's going to be a meaningful one if you want it to be. Anyway here it is!

Today was the day of Maddie's final dance competition. She decided to take a break from the competition world and focus on family and other obligations that she has. She also decided to help out on certain things for her fathers mafia much to her father and brothers dismay.

Allan Blake realized that he can't hold back his daughter anymore and keep her in the dark. Mainly because she would sneak around and figure out what they were hiding. He also set time aside for his family because he realized that you need to cherish what you have before it's too late.

"Are you ready Mads?" Sebastian asked his sister. It was really hard for him to see his little sister grow up away from her family but he was happy to have her back where she belongs. He also is glad that she isn't sad about mom anymore. He remembers when everyone in the house would wake up to her screaming and crying in her sleep about that night.

"Yeah. I'm really nervous though but I don't know why. I mean think about it, I've done countless amounts of competitions but this one is my final one for now. I don't know if I'll go back to competition."

"Well as of right now you don't need to think about that. Just focus on the future and what you want to do for the rest of this year," Xander  said while walking into the living room.

Xander couldn't wait to spend some more quality time with his sister. As much as he loves to watch her dance he can't wait to see her excel in other things. Mom always wanted Maddie to peruse her own dreams. She didn't know if she wanted her to be in the mafia, but I think Maddie does want to be in it.

"Yeah little one focus on the now but also plan for the future." Theo explained. As of right now Theo has been working very very hard to be the next leader of the mafia and help make it even better than before. He may be busy a lot of the time but he loves to spend quality time with his siblings.

"That was great Theo. Amazing words of advice. *cough* sarcasm *cough*." Xavier informed even though it was dripping with sarcasm. Xavier has always been like that. Some people might say that being sarcastic and funny isn't meant to be in the mafia but in the Blake family it wouldn't be Xavier without a little bit of sarcasm and snide remarks here and there.

"You'd think that this kid would realize when the time is right for his stupid jokes," Tristan said while slapping him on the back. As much as Tristan loves his brother he doesn't like to admit that his jokes are funny. Even though everyone knows that he enjoys his jokes.

"We all know that if Xavier didn't make all of his jokes then he wouldn't be Xavier. Also I would be concerned if he stopped with all of his silly jokes," Maddie laughed with the others.

"Why do I hear all this laughter in your fathers house? What did Xavier say now?" Tim asked while walking downstairs.

"Hey grandad!" Maddie screamed while going over to hug him.

"Hey sweat pea." Just like everyone else Tim was weary about letting his precious granddaughter be able to know what was going on in the mafia. With much persuading he gave into her pleads and let her know what was going on and even let her train with John, Mike, Rodger, and the rest of the bodyguards.

   "So what did Xavier say?"

"Oh it wasn't Xavier this time. Right little one?" Theo joked.

"Oh really? It was the little one who said something funny hmm?" Tim teased.

"Ughhh I am NOT that short! You guys are just giants compared to regular sized people!" Maddie hated being so short compared to her 6' something family. Curse mom and her short genes. "All I said was that it wouldn't be Xavier if he stopped with his jokes and said that I would be concerned if he stopped."

"Well you're not wrong. I'd be concerned as well," Tim chuckled.

   "Where's dad?"

   "Right here miele."

Maddie turned around and ran into her fathers waiting arms. "Are you excited miele? Nervous? Jittery? What are you feeling?"

"I'm excited yet nervous. I mean it's my last one for now so I don't know how it's going to go but I hope it's good."

"Well we should probably get going if you want to get there a little early to check everything out."

Maddie jumped down from the hug and ran to the fridge to grab her two water bottles and dance bag. While everyone else grabbed a costume bag.

They gave their stuff to some of the guards and got into the car and started their way to the dance competition.

Allan looked back at his kids and saw all of them trying to distract Maddie from her nerves and it seemed to be working. He put his hand in his pocket and grabbed the picture of his wife with all of her children and himself. He couldn't help but feel bittersweet about his wife. He cherished all of the memories that they made together and he knew that she was proud of him.

Up in heaven Emma was watching her family with love and adoration. She couldn't help but be proud of her family and relish in the fact that she gets to watch her family grow and love each other from up in heaven. She was proud of all of her kids but especially Maddie because no matter how many times she missed her family when she was kidnapped she never gave up and continued to strive for success. Stay together my family and love each other as I have loved you.
