I practically growled at Lorenzo for pulling out that stupid stunt but when I heard swearing coming out from her, I cherished the moment. It's not always you love to hear cusses coming out from the rightful individual. When she stood by herself at times when women need to stand beside men to shield them, she did the fighting against the storm. I am proud of my Georgia. Wait, I really did say that? I internally chuckle to myself. Glancing at Lorenzo who seems unfazed about the situation, I take the initiative to hurt him slowly yet painfully.
I gaze over her previous seat somehow missing her but then the metallic shining object catches my eyes knowing that the phone belongs to Georgia. I look at her disappearing figure walking towards the left. I quickly excuse myself and walk in her direction. Just as I am about to call her, two heavy figures take her away making me scream in the middle of the street. "Georgia."
I quickly dial Diego's number and my eyes try to access any nearby CCTV camera. Thankfully, I find one and head towards the shop while my ear is plugged into a Bluetooth device.
"Hello."
"Hello Diego, I need you to open the computer and access the location of the given number plate of a van."
"Why? Did something happen?"
"I will explain it to you later, till then tell Caleb okay?"
"Done."
I cut the call and entered the shop.
"I want to watch the CCTV surveillance."
The shopkeeper eyes me from top to toe and asks the most valuable question, "Who are you?"
I turn around and flicker my eyelids wide open for a moment and blink them earning liquids on my eyes. "My-My woman h-has been kidnapped a-and I-I want to f-find her, p-please he-help me."
The Oscar prize goes to me for sure.
The shopkeeper sighs and looks at me with pitiful eyes. "If it can help, I would love to. Come, son." I roll my eyes letting down the tears to make it look more realistic.
"Sit here and find out that bastard okay, but don't think you will do anything or else another CCTV camera will swipe your face out. In meantime, I am going to contact the local police." This gentleman is clever.
My eyes widen in disbelief. "No." I quickly rush out the words but soon tend to compose myself before replying with a broken note. "I am an underground agent and if my real identity is known to them then everything will blast, from my real life to the person they are holding captive."
He tiredly nods his head and walks out.
Without any waste of time, I search the recent live footage and wait for the video to continue only to stop when I see the black van. My eyes narrow judging the number plate and also something, something that let me recognize.
