Corrupted Shadows

It's 10:48.

Allison is still sitting in her parked car debating whether or not she wants to go and face her fears, or skimp out and go back home and sleep. At this point, sleep was feeling like a valid option.

"You can do this. It's just a stupid bear. It's inanimate. It doesn't have thought."

She couldn't quite shake off the feeling of dread and fear that plagued her ever since she started her job.

Allison took a moment to gather her thoughts and looked back at her watch.

10:59.

"Phew. Let's do this."

She put on her utility belt, grabbed her bag, and headed into the building.

There was nobody there except the boss. He was a very quiet man. His nose was always buried in his work, he barely pays attention to his employees.

"Oh. Hello Allison. What brings you here tonight?"

he looked- horrible. His eyes very baggy, the color of what was once blue, a slight grey. His smile wide.

"I'm- I'm sorry Mr. Afton. I came here at this time because Funtime Freddy has broken down, and he needs to be repaired."

This was only the second time Mr. Afton has spoken to her after the time is when she was hired.

"They work, they don't work, don't sweat it, kid. The elevator is over there. Good luck, Ms. Smith."

He flashed her a sinister smile.

A tooth of his was chipped, so that ramps up the creeps by 40%.

Allison made her way to the elevator and made her decent.

It was very dark, so she brought her headlamp in case anything gets sketchy.

She found the door labeled "Parts & Service".

"This is it. This is the chance to prove that you aren't scared of it."

Her hand slowly reached for the knob.

It twisted with a squeal, and she opened door, poked her head in.

There was nothing that she saw at first, but then it was HIM.

Sitting on the conveyer belt, staring off into nothing.
