As you guys can probably tell, I'm a huge Star Wars Resistance fan. Ever since it came out, I've had an immense passion for the series. I know not a lot of people like it but I freaking adored it, so when I found out it's second season was the final one, I was pretty sad, and when that final episode dropped? You're talking about a mega sad girl. Even then, I still couldn't leave the fandom, so I'm still rocking it with the fandom and partying like it's October 2018 all over again.
But let's get to main point: How was the project created? It was May 1st and I was just browsing at Resistance content as usual, but as I looked, I came across something interesting. I found concept art of what the Colossus was originally going to look like, and oh my god..it was pretty.
All the colors and the character designs looked absolutely gorgeous. If used, I think it would have helped with giving the show that anime vibe (now, I'm not saying that the final concept for the Colossus is bad, I think it still has a lot of that charm to it). As I was looking at it, a spark flew in my mind..
"What if this picture was actually the future of the Colossus?"
And so, Castlion Bay came to be!
I believe this is going to be a very ambitious project. I want to make this series as if it were an actual show with seasons and episodes. When I say I have passion for this, I really do. I want to make a series that Resistance fans can enjoy just like the show, with chapter updates giving off the same feeling as an episode premiering on TV.
Currently, episode one is still in development. Since I've gotten more busy currently, I've been getting help from some of my buddies to write it, and they will be credited in the story. To those people, I thank you for helping me bring this story to life for me <3
I don't have a set release for episode one yet, so please be patient as it's in development. For now, I leave you off with the series's story:
The series takes two years after Rise of Skywalker. With the First Order being defeated, the galaxy can now be in peace, and that came with a galactic renaissance. Planets were rejuvenating, new discoveries and innovations were being made, and people were all coming together.
The Colossus was no exception from it. It was once a quaint platform on the sea, but it was never the greatest. Everything changed once a boy by the name of Kazuda Xiono arrived there. The citizen who was once just a Resistance spy became not only the symbol of Team Fireball, not the most well known member of the world platforms top group, The Ace Squadron.
The platform became even more well known as it helped saved the Resistance and Galaxy as a whole during the Battle of Exegol, being led by the prestigious Lando Calrissian. With the help of Kaz's ties to the group, the Resistance and many others were able to fund them with enough credits to give the place the well deserved renovation it needed.
Two years later and now the platform is one of the most bustling places to start you life. From it's taverns and day and nightclubs at night, from it's wide variety of markets and shops, but most importantly, the races and performances the platform had always been known for. And best of all? It's located right next to Castlion Bay, the planets luxurious tropical beach bay.
With all of this, it's not wonder why the platform had become one of the most popular places to live your life. It has now become a bustling melting pot humans and creatures of shapes, sizes, and races. It's especially become popular with the younger group of people, and that's where the story begins...
