Seungmin and Hyunjin were both walking on the way to the book store in the mall but split up so Hyunjin can go get ice cream for both of them while Seungmin buys the books he wants. When Seungmin walked out the store after buying his books, he saw Hyunjin holding their ice cream except he saw him chatting with a pretty girl. Hyunjin looked as if he was enjoying talking to her and he honestly felt a little jealous. He hesitated whether to go up to him or not but didn't matter as Hyunjin spotted him.

"Oh Seungmin! Come here, I got our ice cream," he smiled and motioned him to go to where he and the girl were waiting. Seungmin mentally panicked but went over there anyways.

"Hello! I'm not sure if we met before but I'm Hyunjin's friend, Park Jinae!" she smiled at him, stretching her arm out for a handshake. Seungmin nodded while getting his ice cream from Hyunjin.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Kim Seungmin," he said, shaking her hand. He wasn't sure if he imagined it but he felt a little hard squeeze when they shook their hands but just ignored it.

"Alright enough introductions. Jinae what are you gonna do now?" Hyunjin asked her.

"Oh actually I'm not doing anything right now," she smiled sweetly.

"Oh is that so. Do you wanna come with me and Seungmin? If that's alright with him." Jinae and Seungmin made eye contact.

"Sure!"
"No," they said at the same time. If that wasn't awkward, Seungmin didn't know what else could be.

"What was that Seungmin?" Hyunjin asked, not sure if he heard right.

"I-I mean yes of course she can join us," he said, avoiding both their eye contact while he quietly eats his ice cream.

"Great! Oh! Then I should get you an ice cream too Jinae, it's my treat hehe," he said and left to quickly get one her too.

'Fuck you Hwang Hyunjin for leaving me alone with her' Seungmin said in his head. The awkward silence is slowly growing and becoming more uncomfortable with Seungmin until Jinae started to converse with him.

"So what's your relationship with Hyunjin?" she asked, her personality completely changing to a bright, nice person to a cold, rude person. 'Of course she's a too-faced bitch' Seungmin internally sighed.

"I don't think I have to answer that," Seungmin replied coldly, not caring if he's mean to her now since he knows what she's really like behind the fake mask she puts on in front of Hyunjin.

She sighed and looked at him. "Don't test me Kim Seungmin. I can ruin your whole life in a blink of an eye," she smirked. "Now it looks like he really likes you by the way he talked to me about you while waiting here. I advise you to not get close with him as I want him for myself and I don't want you to turn him gay."

Seungmin looked at her, deeply offended by that last line. "Ok and what if I'm gay? So what? Did you even think of asking about his sexuality? Not everyone is straight you know," he said, rolling his eyes. Jinae was about to respond but Hyunjin came back with Jinae's ice cream in his hand. Jinae thanked him as he gave it to her but Hyunjin noticed that Seungmin was now in a bad mood. He wondered what happened when he left them alone but decided to ask him later if they get a chance to be alone.

As soon as he came back, he got a text from Chan saying everyone should head to the food court now so they can all eat together. "Chan's saying we should meet at the food court now. Jinae, wanna come or are you gonna go?"

"Of course I'll come Hyunjinnie~" Jinae grinned. Seungmin rolled his eyes in annoyance and started to make his way to the food court. Hyunjin was about to run up to him and walk together but Jinae held him back by linking their arms together and he didn't want to be rude so he just let her be. Seungmin looked back to see them link arms which made him even more annoyed so he sped up his walking. 'God, it was going so well until she showed up' Seungmin thought, disappointed.

Once Seungmin spotted his friends sitting down on the table, he quickly went up to them and sat down without saying a word. They looked confused as to why he looked upset.

"Hey Minnie, where's Hyunjin?" Jisung asked him.

"He's coming." And once he said that, Hyunjin and Jinae with linked arms came into view where they then headed to where the rest were at. The group then realized why Seungmin was now upset.

"Hey guys," Hyunjin greeted. "This is Jinae. She comes to our school if you didn't know."

"I didn't know you have a girlfriend," Felix gasped. Seungmin then kicked his shins under the table which made him cry in pain. Felix realized Seungmin was glaring at him so he stopped talking.

"Nah she's just my friend. Anyways let's sit Jinae. Yall can introduce yourselves if you want," Hyunjin said as he sat down in front of Seungmin where Jinae then followed to sit next to Hyunjin. There was a slight tension in the air so Chan changed the subject and talked about what to order.

While everyone was talking about what to get, Hyunjin tapped his foot against Seungmin's to make him look up at him. 'You ok?' Hyunjin mouthed to him. Seungmin glanced at Jinae and he saw she looked mad at him. Seungmin then mouthed back a small 'Yes' and pulled out his phone to avoid any more conversations. Hyunjin clearly knew something was up and he didn't like Seungmin ignoring him so he pulled out his phone to text him instead.
