Hey, this is Whitney, sorry I couldn't get to the phone, leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
Janet groaned as she slammed the phone onto the receiver. That was the tenth time she called today. She had already left a handful of messages. She pleaded over and over again for Whitney to return one of her calls and just talk to her. But, of course not one of her calls were returned. She was so angry with herself. All Janet ever did was get in her feelings and acted out of emotion.
Sleeping with Bobby was a mistake she shouldn't have made but she couldn't take it back. Janet sighed as she left her room and headed to her favorite brother's sleeping quarters.
"Michael I need your help," she sighed and she opened his door and took a seat on his bed.
"Janet!" Michael scolded, "What did I tell you about bursting into my room? I'm writing right now." Michael rolled his eyes and continued on the piecing together the song he was concocting.
"Come on Michael, I really need help," Janet whined.
Michael sighed as he set aside his pen and paper. "What's up?"
"Whitney's not talking to me, I've called her a dozen times and she hasn't returned any of them... she's really upset with me."
"Have you considered she doesn't wanna talk to you?"
"Oh come on Michael, I really miss her."
"Oh jeez..." Michael muttered, "Come on Janet you slept with her guy friend without knowing if she was or wasn't seeing him. That's vile. Give her some space."
"I know I hurt her but I'm sorry. It was a mistake. I messed up I know that but how long is she gonna punish me for it."
"As long as she feel she needs too."
"Michael talk to her for me, please?"
Michael sighed, "Fine, but I'm not guaranteeing anything."
"Thank you," Janet smiled as she stood off his bed and proceeded to exit her brother's room.
Michael sighed as he picked up the phone and dialed Whitney's home phone. He waiting as the line trilled and he sighed again, waiting for an answer.
"Hello?" Whitney's voice rang through the phone.
"Hey Whit... it's Michael."
"Oh hey Mike! What's up?"
He chuckled, "I know you seen my sister's been calling you."
Whitney groaned on the other line, "I'm not talking to her for a reason."
"I know, I know. I don't agree with what went down either. Bobby's one of my friends, ya know? You'd think he'd keep his hands off my sister. But anyways, I hope you can find it in her heart to forgive her. I know she's pretty upset about some crush and I don't know maybe it was just a poor reaction to it."
Whitney sighed, "Thanks for the call Michael—"
"Whit at least give me something to tell her..." he frowned.
"No, it's okay. I'll um— I'll call her."
Michael sighed in relief, "Thank you. I'll talk to you later Whit."
"Alright, bye Mike," Whitney sighed as she hung up.
She hummed to herself as she dialed Janet's well remembered number thoughtlessly. She waited as the line trilled.
"Now this girl wanted me to call her so back she better answer," Whitney sighed.
As soon as she heard someone had answered she sighed, "Hey Janet I—"
"Hello?," a man's voice answered, "who is this?"
