Chapter fourteen

Parker's POV

Victoria motioned me to enter her house and I gulped. Her dad is soo tall and intimidating.

"Hey Mrs Brown" I brought my hands to shake her but she smiled and hugged me as soon as I entered. "Wow, you look smoking hot." She said while giggling.

I couldn't help but to smile, she looks like Victoria but instead of Victoria's blueish greenish eyes, she has grey eyes.

Mr brown walked up to me and gave me a firm handshake. He had that "if you mess with my daughter imma kill you" look I gulped and he smiled. I guess he is enjoying how scared I looked.

I sat down in the dining room while Victoria and her mum served the food. I really wanted to join them because Mr Brown  was looking directly at me, but Mrs Brown  insisted I shouldn't.

"So son, have you taught of your future career ? Like what would you like to be?  I smiled and nodded.

"Yes sir, I want to be an orthodontist." He smiled looking really proud.

"Are you in any advanced class?" I smirked slightly so he wouldn't notice. "Yes sir I am in four actually."

"Wow" he smiled and looked at Victoria. She just shrugged. I guess she was also surprised but she didn't want her dad to notice.

"Can you mention them?" He asked  still amused. Ap calculus, Ap biology, Ap English language and composition, Ap chemistry." He looked shocked. Even Mrs Brown looked shocked.

"I am sure your parents are extremely proud of you, I am also very proud of you." He smiled and I also smiled.

"Thank you very much sir."

"Okay, okay let's eat." We all laughed and I saw Victoria giving me thumbs up.

We ate in silence.

"Mrs Brown the food is delicious." she just giggled.  "Sweetheart call me Vanessa."

Mr Brown snorted. And we all burst our laughing, except Mrs brown who was pouting.

"Okay time for dessert." Victoria said grinning. I just chuckled.

It was chocolate pudding and ice cream. "Wow Mrs... I mean Vanessa, you are the best cook ever." She just shrugged. "I try my best."

Victoria scoffed. "Stop being modest you are the best cook ever." And we all laughed.

The night went like a blur, we all had fun and laughed. But then it was getting late and I had to go.

"Good night, maybe we can do this again sometime." Mrs Brown smiled. "That's not a bad idea, tell your parents we might see them next week." I stiffened. "I don't stay with my parents."

Mr Brown raised an eyebrow. "Okayy, who do you stay with?" I gulped. "No one, I stay alone."

"Oh wow, I guess you are a big boy then." He chuckled  and I sighed in relief. "Thank you so much for the food." "It's no problem darling." Mrs Brown said smiling.

I walked out of the house and entered my car.

It has been a really long night and all I did was sleep. I was really stuffed. Mrs Brown's chicken casserole is the best man.

Sunday passed like a blur. Marco, Gabriella and I went to a karaoke bar and had hella fun. Victoria was meant to join us but she had to go pick up her brother from camp or something like that .

I walked into the hallway and went straight to my locker. I saw Amelia and she was talking to one of her plastic friends. She looked at me and flashed me a fake smile.

I just waved and passed. Gabriella was standing in front of my locker eating an apple. "How are you doing Gabby?" She shrugged. "Oh you know . The usual. Devil worship, animal sacrifice, bathing in blood on a daily basis. All that woo stuff girls with boyfriends do." I just chuckled.

"What got your panties in a twist?" She just smiled. "Nothing I am not in the mood to have fun that's all." I nodded and she walked out.

"Hey babe, how are you doing?" Victoria asked while walking up to me.I smirked.

"Oh you know. The usual. Satanic worshiping, having sex, drinking blood, human sacrifice. All the crazy stuffs we boys whom our girlfriends don't care about us do."

She looked at me like I have grown two heads. "Come again say whatt?" I just chuckled.

"How did you come up with all that?" Zoe asked and I smirked. "Like I said, it's just the usual stuff for me."

Victoria just scoffed. "Oh shut it. I give you more than enough love dimwit." Zoe just faked a gag and we all laughed.

"So my genius of a boyfriend, when did you plan on telling me how smart you really were." I just smiled.

"You didn't ask. I am a real example of not judging a book by its cover."

She just rolled her eyes. While Zoe looked baffled. "Wait so you didn't know Parker is like the smartest kid in our school?"  "Well... I don't meant to brag but I might me the valedictorian of this set."

Victoria hit my arm. "Cocky idiot." And Zoe smirked. "Oh don't get your hopes up man. My bestie bud is really smart."  "Thanks babe." Victoria said smiling.

I just scoffed. "Bye nerds." Victoria pouted. "I didn't get my goodbye kiss."

I laughed and cupped her cheeks, our lips met and I felt my briefs dampen.

The kiss was short but passionate. When we separated Zoe was nowhere to be found. I guess it wasn't as short as it seemed.

"Hey I'll walk you to your class." She smiled and nodded.

With our intertwined fingers we walked to our next class. I couldn't help but to look at our intertwined fingers. It looked almost perfect. Keyword ALMOST.
