9: Mum visits

I wake up and Edward is smirking. "Alice left you clothes" said Edward. I yawn and nod. I stand up and grab them. I do my hair and slip the heels Alice gave me on. I go out and Edward smirks. "Damn she picked a great outfit" said Edward. DING. I check my phone and it says dad.

From dad

Your mum is visiting. Be home soon OK. Bring Edward if you must 

To dad

OK

"Mum's coming to visit" I said. Edward smiles and we go downstairs. Esme hands me french toast and coffee. "Thank you" I said, smiling. I dig in and then we leave. Once we get home, we go inside. Mum is there with Phil. "Edward... Bella was telling me you broke up with her" said mum. "She asked Jacob to kiss her. I broke up with her." said Edward. I look down. "Where did you stay?" asked mum. I look up. "With me and my family" said Edward. "Oh right, well do you like him, Isla;." sad Mum. "Mum! His a friend" I said. Mum just nods. I sigh and sit down. "Who gave you that dress?" asked mum. "Alice" I said. Edward sits beside me and places his arms behind me. "Isla, can we speak?" asked mum. I nod and stand up. We go to the kitchen. "You and Edward are dating. How could you do that to Bella" said mum. "She cheated on him. On purpose mum. I'm going back." I said. I go back and sit beside Edward. He looks at me. He nods and I nod back. Bella just glares. Mum walks out and sits down. "Me and Phil should head to the hotel" said mum. They left. 

"Isla what did mum say?" asked Bella. "As if you don't know" I said. I stand up. "I'm going to my room." I said. Edward follows and closes the door. "Are you OK?" asked Edward. "Yeah. Just annoyed at mum" I said. "I'm annoyed too, you know. Anyway everything will be fine." said Edward. I nod and hug him. He hugs back. Dad pokes his face in. "You two, we're meeting Renee and Phil for dinner" said dad. I nod. I stay in this outfit. We leave and eventually get there. We get seated and I smile at Edward. Bella just looks down. I feel for her, I really do.

We order our food and Edward orders a rare steak, well its cooked a bit. Mum just frowns when it gets there. I smirk at the table. I begin to eat my pasta and Edward takes some bites of the steak. Mum looks at me "Why are you eating nearly rare steak?" asked mum. "Oh I like it bloody" said Edward. I cough to cover a laugh. Soon we're done and we go home. Edward pretends to drive away. I go to my room and put my pyjama's on and sit on my bed, waiting for Edward. He jumps in and I smile at him. He sits beside me. He leans in and kisses my cheek. I smile and kiss his cheek. I lie down and place my head on his chest. I close my eyes and fall into a deep sleep.

Today was the most weirdest day, ever.
