My Only One

"What do you think about Yeoone, Yuto-ssi", Hui suddenly asked.

"Yeoone hyung always jokes around Wooseok in dorms. He takes care of me too.", Changgu managed to say while impersonating Yuto's deep voice.

They are now doing live radio where they answer like other members.

"From what I see, these two got close recently", Hui said while making eye contact with Yuto.  

Yuto looked at Changgu beside him who is now talking about other members with his ever present sunshine smile. He felt a tight squeeze in his heart. As Hui said he got closer to Changgu but not how Hui thinks.

Yuto was not sure about the expression on his face when he felt a hand on his thighs just above his knees. He knew the owner of the hands wanted him to relax but the pressure on his thighs is making it hard for him to concentrate.

Yuto was not sure how he managed to complete the broadcast without mistake but he made a mental note to thank the gods before his bed tonight.

After their schedules members entered their rooms to either have their deserved sleep or to just watch anime(Wooseok). Everyone had their own room except Changgu and Yanan. Since Yanan is now in China Changgu had the whole room to himself. Changgu was not happy about it. He missed his lifelong friend.

Changgu laid down on their bunk bed. He tried to sleep but all he could think about was how Yanan and him watch dramas despite their busy schedule getting scolded by Jinho for being loud. Changgu tried to blink away his tears. His room felt like a cage.

Yuto always wanted to write songs for his group. The feeling of performing his own song with his members on the stage for the universe felt special to him.

Yuto was trying to work on the melody of the song. He heard a faint knock on his door before a man entered his room and went straight up to his bed covering himself with the duvet without speaking nor acknowledging Yuto's presence.

Yuto sighed before placing his guitar down. He now joined the man in bed hugging him.

Changgu was always there for members but he never sought for others' help. Someone must take initiative to approach him and break down his wall to know what he hides under his sunshine smile. But Changgu now made a door for Yuto now all he needs to do is to find the right key.

"Hyung, do you want to talk?", Yuto whispered just for Changgu to hear.

Changgu didn't answer his question but he is crying. Yuto pulled him closer in a hug.

"I miss him", Changgu spoke after a few minutes he stopped crying but his voice was hoarse from the after effect. Yuto is glad that they have a rest day tomorrow.

"He will be back soon hyung. You do know that he won't mind even if you call him at 2 a.m"

"Hmm but I miss talking to him in person. Watching dramas together, fighting for the bathroom, cuddling together and talking about ", Changgu hid his face in Yuto's chest ,"you".

Yuto can't help but smile at his hyung. He still remembers the day when Yanan was tired of Changgu's little crush.

Few months ago

Yuto came back to the dorm tired after his workout and saw 96 liners watching some drama,cuddling on the couch. Yuto went into the kitchen to drink water.

It was a normal day until Yanan screamed,"Yuto my friend here needs to talk to you". He heard a loud smack before Yanan left the living room rubbing his arms.

Changgu was still on the couch not looking anywhere but the floor. Yuto went and sat beside him.

They were silent.

Yanan yelled again from his room, "IDIOT HE WON'T BITE just talk"

"SHUT UP YANAN", Changgu yelled back.

Yuto felt like he was caught in a crossfire. He was not sure what Changgu wanted to talk or why Yanan was forcing him to talk.

"Hyung if you are not comfortable I will wait"

Yuto reached for Changgu's hand drawing circles with his thumbs. He dont know what to do but not want to see his hyung like this.

Changgu sighed before looking up. His eyes were glassy but certain.

"Yuto I love you"

It was common for them to say 'i love you' between members but Yuto knew this was not just that. It has more to those words.

Yuto was lost in thoughts. He never thought Changgu would confess even in his wildest dreams. He was confused but not disgusted. Yuto once said he would marry Changgu if he was a girl now he just wants to figure out will he do the same even if he is a boy.

"I will leave now", Changgu got up from the couch.

"Hyung I need time"

"You don't have to give me an answer. I just....I just wanted to let this out of my heart. You can pretend this never happened", Changgu added.

"Hyung I don't want to forget"

Yuto and Changgu never talked about it again but both knew it without talking. Yuto and Changgu spend time together in the gym, Yuto sometimes joining lifelong friends drama night, Changgu helping him with guitar. Changgu comes to his bed whenever he is upset and Yuto hugs him to sleep just like now.

Yuto saw the elder looking at him not sleeping. They felt their breath on each other. Yuto's eyes fell on Changgu's plump lips which are usually covered with makeup to look thin. Yuto never understood the need for that.

Yuto felt a soft thing on his lips and it left even before his brain could progress.

Yuto decided to chase that soft thing but this time he wanted the feeling to be engraved in his brain.

Yuto woke up before the alarm. He could hear Wooseok in the shower singing to some song. He entered the living room to find Jinho making breakfast.

"Do you want me to help with breakfast hyung?"

"Wake up that sleeping beauty before our neighbours complain about his alarm"

Changgu is notorious for not waking up even after 5 alarms. Jinho had always had a hard time waking him up.

Yuto entered Changgu's room (96 liners room was prohibited from locking after Jinho once had to use chopsticks to open their room).

The elder was sleeping soundly, not fazed by his alarm. Yuto wants to cuddle with Changgu but Jinho's face in his little head says NO.

"Changgu hyung you need to wake up",Yuto said while making a mental note to bring water with him next time.

"Hyung~", Yuto tried to shake him.

Changgu lifted his two fingers.

"No hyung wake up now", Yuto said while trying to pull his duvet.

Yuto felt a hand on his waist now he was lying on the bed being wrapped by Changgu.

"5", Changgu said without opening his eyes.

Yuto gave up hoping Jinho won't mind extra 5 minutes.

"Yut-- ahh my eyes", Wooseok hurriedly closed the door with a thud as dramatic as ever.

"I will make him do more dishes,'' Changgu said with a pout.

Yuto has to figure out how to deal with his members but now he is happy that the sleeping snake around him finally decided to wake up.
