Chapter S I X

Johnna's POV

Christie had left in the morning. It's now 2:30pm and I haven't done anything productive. Well.. it's only Saturday.
'What to do, what to do?'
'I'm such a lonely panda.'
'Haha! Good one Johnna!'
'Annnd you're talking to yourself again..'

I then pace my room thinking of what I can do. Then I get an AWESOME idea!
I grab my iPhone and call Destiny.
Ringgg.... Ringggg.... Rin-
"Hey J! What's up?"
"Hey Destiny! Nothing much, just being bored out of my mind. You?"
"Same." She sighs.
"Can you come over? I have something in mind.."
"Johnna... If it's something dangerous or illegal then Hell no!"
"It's not illegal you doof! Just hurry! bye." I hang up and wait for her to come.

A couple minutes later i hear the door open.

"COME ON UP! I'M IN MY ROOM!" I yell.

"OKAY!" She yells.

I'm just finished changing and I'm putting on my eyeliner when she comes in.

"Ready."

"For...?" She asks raising an eyebrow.

"Just come on!"

She rolls her eyes and we walk down stairs and get in My car. The ride to the place were going consist of me blasting my music and screaming out the lyrics.

We then pull up at the Animal shelter.
"What are we doing here?" Destiny asks in confusion.

"I'm going to adopt a puppy!" I say excitedly.

"What? Did you ask your parents?"

"No.. But they're never home anyways. Too busy with work." It goes silent.

"Anyway let's go." I say changing the subject. We head in the building and walk up to the front desk.

"Hi, welcome to Barkly's dog shelter. How may I help you?" The lady says in a monotone voice not looking up from her computer.

"Hello! Could you please assist me in finding a dog?"

"Umm sure, one minuet."

The lady then gets up and when she does she takes a look at me. her eyes go slightly wide. I think she recognizes me from my parents, Kathy Knight and John Knight. They pretty much skyrocketed in the Management and Business industry. Hence why they're never home.

"Right this way Miss Knight." Yup just like I guessed. I sometimes hate being well known.

We walk down a long hallway and reach a door labeled 'DOGS'
We enter the room, My eyes scan around. I begin to wander around the room. ' I really want to take them all' I think to myself, but sadly I can't. I continue to look. The lady occasionally showing me dogs that are so stereotypical expensive breeds that most obnoxious rich girls carry but I kindly decline.

I continue looking for what feels like forever but then I stop at a cage and just stare.

Inside lays a slightly dirty baby teacup pomeranian, but this ones different than other ones, it smaller than the usual. It sits in the corner shaking seeming terrified and confused.

The lady notices my staring and comments.

"Oh you you wouldn't want that one, She's the runt of the litter. Probably not gonna get any bigger. Here I'll show you this nice poodl-"

"I don't mean to cut you off ma'am but I want this one."

"You sure you want that?"

"Positive!"

"Okay well come with me and I'll get it registered and you can pay for all the shots."

I follow her to a room after I fill out the forms. I've decided on naming her Mia. I know it's weird, but I like that name.

Watching her get the shots were painful, she whimpered and I just wanted to hug her. I payed for
A cage and carried her to the car.

"We're going to Petsmart."

"Okay, Ooo! We NEED to get her cute little outfits!"

"Yes! Oh! And mini purses for her! Oh and bows!"

"Eeeeek!" We both squeal.

*******To PetSmart*******

Me and Destiny walk around the store grabbing Dresses, Jackets, Pants, Skirts, Shirts, Shoes,Collars, Leashes, Underwear, Bows, A doggy bag for her, Food, Bowls, Beds, Toys, Shampoo, Conditioner, Blow drier, Brush, Tooth paste, Tooth brush, Doggie treats and more.
To be honest, I'm still not done shopping for clothes for her.

I bring everything to the checkout, which took two carts and the guy starts scanning everything. 25 minuets later and he finally scans the last item.

"Your total will be $395.00."

I hand him my credit card and he swipes it.

"Do you want your recite?"

I chuckle. "Umm I'd rather not." I crack a smile, and the clerk laughs.

We dive back to my house with all Mia's stuff. I take Mia, her things and run up to my room. With Destiny on her way up. I put all the stuff down and rummage through the bags to find her Shampoo, Conditioner, Tooth brush and paste, and her Blow drier. I then carry her to my bathroom. 18 minuets later and she's all clean and dry.

"Have you thought of a name?"

"Yup, I have. Her name is Mia."

"Awww! Well J I got to go, my mom just texted me. Dinners ready."

"Oh, okay. Text me later Destiny! Love you!"

"Love you too Johnna!"

I hug her then settle down with my new baby! I dress her in Pj's and put on my Pj's. I grab her doggie snacks and me a bag of chips and some chicken tenders. And me and Mia hop in bed and watch Pretty Little Liars.
As I'm munching on my food and she hers. She turns and stares at me then at my tender, then at me, then at the chicken. I break a small piece off and feed it to her. She chews and swallows it. And stares at me satisfied with her tiny tongue sticking out.

'She seems to always have that tiny pink tongue out.' I laugh to my self.

We both eventually fall asleep.
