"You have my thanks Joey. I just don't know what came over me." I gratefully said.

"Girl next time don't skip breakfast even lunch. Your skinny enough so please stop with those unhealthy diets." Joey is much of a motherly figure - now I have another nagger on my side.

"Let's go the cafeteria?" He suddenly asked.

"It's ok-"

"My treat. You definitely can't say no to that."

"See even your stomach agrees." An embarrassed blush covered my face. Right when he said it we stormed in the cafeteria glass doors.

My perception of the place is just like a glass house. The architectural design made it feel cozy topping it up with the lounge music, lighting, the artistic decorations. The interior was themed with contemporary design. The dirt would be ashamed to stain the white tiled floors. Someone really took care of these priced thing.

At the center of the room lies a U-shaped bar counter where the different varieties are arranged. The seating is also well thought of making it look neat despite the crowd. Well at this time of hour it is mostly empty.

"Sis You'll never believe who I got to personally designed my dress."

"I'm sure this would be a one hell of a fashion week."

"Yeah, I got Alexander Wang."

"Well I can just settle with the new arrivals from Dior."

Posh people surely have it different. I over heard the lovely ladies chatting about their stressful week as they were passing by clicking their heels away. They shinning shimmering splendid even as their backs are turned against me. How does it feel to have all the wealth and to not care a thing about the world?

"Casey what would you like to eat?" Joey caught me out of my thoughts.

"Oh, anything would be fine." I said mindlessly. "There is no food that is named anything." He sarcastically said while raising an eyebrow.

"Well good old lad may I have that delicious four cheese burger and some lemonade as refreshment." I bounced back the words at him.

"That's more like it." He rolled his eyes as he took our food from the lady and we headed over to the cashier.

Finding a table was a piece of cake. Oh he better treat me for deserts too. We took a vacant one near the windows. It doesn't really make any difference since everything is practically open to the public.

As I was indulging myself in the goodness of this four cheese burger I could see the girls a couple tables away from ours gushing at

Joey's handsomeness. All I could do was roll my eyes.(¬‿¬)

"Ohhh Joey looks at those little minx ogling at you." I smiled teasingly at Joey. ☜(ﾟヮﾟ☜)

He on the other hand was just busy with his vegan meal.

He glanced back and the brunette girl waved at him and Joey did too making them giggle.

"Just ignore them. I'm all yours anyways." He smirked at me.

"Sorry girls he likes men." I whispered a shout at their way. The two ladies disappeared with judgmental eyes.

"I want to gouge those eyes of 'em."

"See I told you so. Just let them envy my gorgeousness. Save the talk later."

I am clearly frustrated by the way they judged the truth. This is a free country but at the same time I hate how all just want to be politically correct. Let the poor human being feel love and respect.

"I like you Casey."

I looked back at his hazel eyes smiling genuinely. I think he meant the platonic side of this "like" he was talking about but oh well I'll just go along with it.

"Yeah? Likewise."

"You are someone honest and I like those people. I totally dislike a gate crusher with a huge word F-A-K-E written at their faces."

"You are not the only one. No worries. And I'm flattered so I take it that no ones gonna leave the friend-zone?"

"It's official girl. I'm a one call away kind of friend so if you need anything- I mean anything- just call." We exchanged numbers, talked some more and finally we bid farewell. This day was not so bad at all. My house was a walking distance- well not really though but..- and I feel like walking so brace yourself feet.

Where are those damned earphones.

I want to listen to some Rick Astley so I won't feel so lonely. I was pretty preoccupied at the moment when I hit a wall. Wait did I reached the gates already. I was sure I haven't covered half the pathway.

"When are you gonna stop avoiding me Sey?"
