I carried my bag and walked out of the airport. I was going to be a new character in Outer Banks season 2, and I had to get a plane here to South Carolina. I had no idea where I was going or what I was doing, and the only thing I had been told is that someone from the cast was gonna pick me up and take me to set.

I looked around to see if I recognised anyone, and luckily for me, I saw Austin North standing there with a sign that had my name on it.

"Austin?" I said, as I walked over to him.

"Y/n, right? It's so nice to meet you! Funny story, I actually used to work with someone with the same name as you." He laughed, as he picked up his phone to call an Uber.

"Erm. That is me. Do you not remember my face?" I giggled.

"Oh my-" he gasped, as his hand slapped his mouth, "I thought I recognised you but I thought there would be no way that it would actually be you!"

"Did you miss me?" I grinned, as he pulled me in for a hug.

"Like so much. How have you been? It's been ages since I've seen you!"

"I'm all good! How about you?"

"Yeah I'm great! So you're gonna be on the show? We'll be working together again?!" he exclaimed.

"Yep we are! Right okay so tell me about it all, I'm kinda nervous."

"Sure! Well..." he explained everything about the show and all the cast members to me as we got into the car.

"So Maddie was literally gonna cut your hair?!" I giggled, as we stepped onto set and walked around.

"Yeah! And I had to stop her because I was so worried that she was just gonna ruin it! And it didn't help because Drew was laughing his head off and-" Austin started to say.

"What was I laughing my head off at?" Drew said, as he came over, stood next to him and glanced over at me. "Oh hey! Y/n, right?"

"Yeah, hey!" I replied, as he reached over to shake my hand.

"Drew! I used to work with her! She-" Austin began.

"Everyone already knows that, how are you only just realising?!" he answered.

"Wait what?!"

"Yeah, well she's playing Topper's girlfriend and they wanted to have someone who had history with you anyway to make it seem more natural, so Jonas called her agent." Drew told him.

"You're playing my girlfriend?!" he burst out.

"Yeah... Austin have you even read the script? It was sent to us like a month ago!" I laughed.

"Well no, what happens?"

"So basically since Sarah and John B have gone to the Bahamas, your character decides to 'move on'." I began to explain.

"So we have a massive Kook party and you meet Abby, who's played by Y/n." Drew continued, "She's Rafe's ex but then finds you and you end up liking her."

"Oh damn that's interesting." Austin responded. "Then what?"

"So then Rafe finds out, gets super mad, and then him and Barry beat you up. But then she walks in and everything stops." I carried on.

"Because we don't want to fight in front of her, she's like the positive energy in our lives." Drew added.

"Oh right I get that, so how did you end up being Topper's girlfriend?" Austin questioned.
