I was screaming out of happiness, I just got the news that I finally got a manager. The first step in my career is done.Suddenly Kourtney came bursting through the Door „Congrats."
I hugged her while smiling like a crazy person, but what I didn't tell her was that I will be spending the Summer in LA, to work on some music. I should just be honest and get it over with.I grabbed her hand „I have to tell you something." I sat down on my bed.
„I will be spending the Summer in LA." She hugged me „I expected that, just don't forget to tell me everything."
The thing was that I still had one week of school left and I wasn't sure if I could survive it.
The next day at school I had to act like nothing had happened, because I was scared of what Gina would say. We all know she would probably not be to happy about it.
When got into the Cafeteria Gina was already making fun of me and like always Ricky didn't say anything. I was mad because after all we used to be friends. Not just that, we used to be best friends. I still can't believe he choose her over me.
On the last day of school I had enough and when I saw Ricky in the hallway I confronted him.
„I know we don't talk anymore and god knows I'm glad we don't since you act like a horrible human being but don't you think it's wrong to make fun of someone you used to be best friends with?"
He didn't expect this, so it took him a few minutes to answer. „You don't know why I'm doing all of this."
Before I could answer I got a call from my manager so I left him standing there. „Hey Nini, Is it possible for you to leave a day early?" „Sure, I can do that."
I hung up. I had to leave early, which also meant I didn't have to talk to Ricky for 3 whole months.
