Welcome to my story, Lost Souls. It's a fanfiction about Johnny Depp falling for your quite average girl, Aubrey Wilson. But why? And how?

But first, a few precautions you should take before reading my story:

1. I've planned for this story to be as realistic as possible, though the idea of dating a celebrity is quite unrealistic in itself, I mean realistic as in no rushing, meaning they probably won't meet before a good couple of chapters in, and they won't already kiss in the second chapter. In reality, that's not how it works. The story takes place in present time, in other words, in 2020, when Johnny is 57 years old. (Lol, not creepy at all, whatsoever.) Also meaning that yes, the story is based on realistic approaches in ways in which there would be a significant age gap between Johnny and Aubrey, given that Aubrey is 18 at the very beginning of the story. (Oh God, this sounds very bad, but please just go along with it. Also, I'm very sorry if you're reading this, Johnny, lol.) And by all means: You should not date minors under any circumstances! (Aubrey is NOT a minor, just so we're clear.) So, if you're not comfortable with the age gap, it's completely understandable, but maybe this story isn't for you.

2. Please give this book a chance. I know it may not be your average Harry Styles-fanfiction but there's something about Johnny Depp that makes me wanna write a fanfiction about him, so here I am. People that have watched him in PotC, CatCF, Sweeney Todd, Edward Scissorhands, and etc., and the countless interviews he's in, know what I'm talking about! He just radiates something special... I can't put my finger on it. He just makes me all giddy and happy. I will try to add some pictures in the chapters every now and then to set the mood and aesthetics, just so you guys can get what I'm talking about.

3. Aubrey Wilson is the main protagonist of the story. She's solely a fictive character I've created. If you're not happy with her, you're free to imagine the protagonist as whomever you want, yourself maybe or anyone else, it's up to you!

4. English is not my native tongue; excuse my English. So, if there's any obscure and weird spellings, please let me know in order for me to correct them!

5. No, Johnny is not all old and shaggy-looking. He ages like fine wine and actually still looks very hot, excuse you. But seriously, I wouldn't be here if he was looking like an old man...

Okay, moving on. Here's the description of the book.

This is the story of two lost souls finding each other, even after going through fate's many harsh ways of confining them.

Bound and attracted to each other by mere curiosity, socially awkward Aubrey Wilson and one of Hollywood's greatest actors, Johnny Depp, discover sides to themselves they never before knew existed. Determined to beat all odds and break the norms set by the toxic reality of being in the limelight, the two victims of an improbable love are willing to give their risky relationship a try. Even if it means they have to prove themselves right to the world, and overcome a series of obstacles, everything from prejudices, expectations, responsibilities, trust issues, self-doubt, false accusations, resurfacing insecurities, and old lovers. Everything that comes with what defines as being in sheer love.

But is their love for each other strong enough to withstand the abyss of reality?
