It's not that Seungmin had a hard time or just didn't like sleeping, on the contrary, any excuse he could find to sleep a little was more than welcomed. The point is that Seungmin had always been a very active young man, which his older sister, Kim Seunghee, could corroborate. Oddly enough, Seungmin was that kind of person who liked to get up early. Weird, right? He liked to wake up when the sun hadn't risen yet, just as the birds were beginning their daily routine, as well as he himself. But what he liked the most was definitely breakfast time. Oh, how he enjoyed the smell of fresh made coffee in the morning, the apartment plunged into total silence, only being interrupted by the noise of the coffeemaker doing its job, which was like music to his ears. And the best part of all, as sad as it may sound, is that he was completely alone. Seungmin adored his friends, of course he did, but there were times when he needed to disconnect from everything around him, that includes Jisung's shrill voice and the talkative personality of the Australian. It was nothing personal. Mornings were the only time of the day when he could spend time for himself, which he had always enjoyed.

Enjoying morning time as much as he did, it was no wonder that Jisung found him sitting in the kitchen, with a cup of coffee in one hand and his mobile phone in the other. Jisung said good morning to a taken aback Seungmin and proceeded to make coffee for him. A cup of strong coffee, because he was going to need it. Seungmin, on the other hand, raised his head from the parenting article he was reading and locked the phone with a slight blush on his cheeks. To say that seeing Han Jisung awake at 8:12 in the morning didn't surprise him, it would be a lie.

"What are you doing up so early?" Seungmin asked, taking a sip of his coffee.

Jisung placed the capsule in its respective place in the coffee pot and the cup on his right spot. Then he pressed the button and the bitter smell of the drink filled the air once again. "To wake up you have to sleep first, my friend."

"Are you telling me you haven't slept?! Like, nothing at all?" There was really no reason for such a question - the dark circles that surrounded the older's eyes gave him away.

"Nope. I've spent the whole night reading articles about new parents and looking up baby names. Did you know that feet can grow during pregnancy? Crazy. And-" Jisung interrupted himself. With a scared expression, he hurried over to Seungmin to snatch the cup of coffee from between his hands. "Seungmin-ah, what are you doing?! Have you lost your mind?" Then he poured the content, in other words, the coffee, down the drain.

"Pardon?! No: have you lost your goddamn mind?!"

"No, no, no. Don't 'pardon' me, you fancy boy!" Seungmin blinked, clearly dumbfounded under his friend's actions. "It's not good to drink caffeine during pregnancy! Oh my God, you're going to kill the baby." Jisung exclaimed as he hurriedly walked over to touch the belly of an annoyed and still shocked Seungmin.

Felix's deep morning voice was soon on the scene. The young man came out of his room, rubbing one of his eyes with his hand. "Man, what's up? What's all this fuss? Do you know what time it is? It's not even 9AM, what are you guys doing?"

"Seungmin was drinking coffee and caffeine is not good during pregnancy!"

"Jisung yelled at me and threw my coffee!"

"I didn't sign up for this." Bringing a hand to his temples, Felix massaged them and sighed. It was too early for that shit. "Seungmin: don't drink any more coffee. If Jisung says it's bad, it must be for a reason. Jisung: stop yelling at Seungmin. Things can be said in a good way, calmly and without yelling, and more so being so early. You guys good now? Can I go back to bed?"

Both boys agreed silently, nodding their heads with a small pout each one. Jisung took his cup of coffee and reached for a small carton of milk from the fridge to offer it to Seungmin, who accepted with an almost inaudible 'thank you'.
