(Snowflower's dream)

She was running through the forest, her sword was gone and she was frantic.

Snow was being chased by something she couldn't see. All she could hear was a laugh. Evil laughter that sent chills down her bones.

Snowflower could feel hot breath on her neck. She yelped in fear and looked behind her, seeing nothing but darkness, darkness chasing her.

She screamed in fear. The shadow covered everything it touched. It was catching up!

Snow felt like she was getting no where, every tree, every rock, every blade of grass looked exactly the same.

Snowflower tripped over a root and started to roll. She yelped as the shadow raced towards her.

Snow couldn't stand. She was helpless on the ground. The shadow approached her and this time Snow saw its eyes. They were blood red with no pupil. They seemed to be filled with amusement from Snow's fear.

She tried to scream, but no sound came out.

The shadow seemed to mock her. It then approached and engulfed her in darkness.

Burning pain was all over her body, like millions of daggers.

She could only see red. Red the color of fresh, oozing blood.

"Wake up." A voice said. It echoed through the air as if they were calling into a canyon.

Snowflower didn't recognize the strange voice. She beleived it to be the shadow.

"Come on." The voice spoke again, this time louder.

Snow struggled and tried to get away from the shadow.

"Please wake up!" The voice boomed, making Snow freeze. The voice.... It wasn't the shadow. It was someone else.

The voice. There probably was no shadow. Snowflower soon came to realization. She was dreaming.

Snow tried to open her eyes. Her eyelids were heavy.

Someone was trying to gently shake her awake. Snow could sense there was more then one creature there.

Was it the vermin? No, they wouldn't be so gentle. Was it the poor prisoners? There was no chance, they were still trapped. Was it her mom and dad? As much as she willed for it to be them, no her parents were dead.

"Please wake up," The soft voice pleaded to her, "Axel? Why hasn't she woken up?"

The creature, presumably 'Axel', replied,"I don't know Rivet. She should have awaken by know."

Rivet, so that is his name, She thought. The one who's voice had entered her dream and woken her from that dark nightmare that seemed so real.

Rivet continued to gently try to wake Snow. Snow was awake, but no matter how much she willed to open her eyes, she wasn't able to.

"Rivet? Where did you even find her?" A new voice asked, Rivet took a paw off of Snow and replied,"Poor mouse was passed out on the river bank."

Snowflower shuddered at the thought of her escape. "She moved!" Rivet exclaimed,"She awake?" The voice, who she believed to belong to Axel, asked

"Think so...."

Snowflower struggled, she tried with all her might to open her eyes. To see the one who had found her on the riverbank.

She slowly opened her eyes. When she did she was met with a face. A young mouse's face with strange green eyes.
