The lost light

Chapter 4

After swirling down the whirlpool of wind for about an hour, Daisy landed on the ground with a thud.

She woke up in a green abyss, with a couple of towering stone structures. It's like a wasteland, Daisy thought.

Up ahead, there was some lakes of murky, black water, or if it even was water at all...
The "water" was slimy and thick, it took away most of Daisy's wing stamina.

Daisy saw some pieces of stone bricks to walk on, on the third brick, Daisy saw a crab. "Hello!" She said.
The crab only hissed and attacked her.

Looks like the crabs there were different.

She hopped over a couple of other rocks and swam through more murky "water".
Then she saw a gap in the big wall that had pipes coming out through it into the lake. Daisy ran into the hole, escaping from the crabs and the disgusting thick substance that was in the lake.

Daisy walked further and saw some ruined parts of what looked like to be parts of small buildings. What happened here? She thought.

Suddenly she saw a small manta flying around. What was it doing in this dark place?

Suddenly, out of nowhere a huge black creature erupts from the murky water, it looks around with its blue light that comes from its single eye.

It locks eyes(what should I call it? The krill has only one "eye")with the manta.

The blue light turns red.

A roaring sound comes from the room where the monster is.

Daisy watches silently as the manta is killed.

Suddenly, the blue light shifts to Daisy.

Daisy runs to a hiding spot. She cries. " I should have stayed where I was, the forest, I should have been happy for what I already had!"

Wait. I'm already here and I can't go back, I should be brave and continue my journey...
