"Aaaagggghhhh!" A little girl's voice echoed through the room as her mother said her last word, "Luna..." The body thud hitting the floor next to her father's. The blood pooled around her foot, peering up she saw the glint of the knives stabbed into her parents' chest.
The anguish, the pain these were the only emotions left when she thought about that night. She hadn't eaten for days, she hadn't left the room's corner, or left sight of the bodies, not since that night. She got up and decided to eat, regaining parts of her will to live, though still faint. "Luna" she heard a voice reminiscing of her mother's. She continued to eat until, "Luna...Luna...Luna" her name was the only thing audible.
Her mind beginning to fall into insanity. "Luna Luna Luna" now her father's, these voices continued, her hands latched to ears, her eyes shut, she curled onto the floor waiting for the madness to end. Hours passed, the voices never ending, no sleep, no food, lasting until the despair took over.
She had abandoned her life, opening her eyes, she was blinded, unable to see light for days, this seemed like heaven. She was ready to die, her life now torture, the family and the life she once loved now ripped away, there was no reason to live.
Her eyes adjusted to the light revealing people she had long lost, her mother and father. This seemed like a dream, she began to cry, regaining all lost hope. "Luna..." This name had caused her deep pain, but now it was this sound she cherished. Her arms flung into the air, leaping towards her mother she had never felt more happiness.
When her body was thrown in the air and landed on the other side of her mother, her arms fell, her mind sank, once again deeper into the madness she knew as home.
