I walked downstairs and heard the doorbell ringing as I walk towards it and opened the door. A man stood there as he handed me a white box.
"Robin Gilbert?"
"Yes?"
"Package for you." He says handing the box before walking away from the house as I watch him turn to a corner. I shrugged and slowly moved inside the house shutting the door behind me using my foot."Who was it?" Jeremy asks walking down the steps and I shrug.
"I have no idea. Just someone giving me a package." I told him.
"Mind calling Elena for me and tell her to come home?" I ask and he nodded walking back upstairs as I made my way to the kitchen placing the white box on the marble counter.
I then turned around and began brewing hit water as I felt eyes towards me from outside making me look up towards the kitchen window towards the backyard seeing no one standing there. I shook my head thinking that it was all in my head as I hear the front door opening and closing along with footsteps.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Elena asks walking into the kitchen with Jeremy.
"That." I pointed towards the white box with no label on it.
"To who?"
"To me, apparently." I answered as I made myself some tea before taking a sip and turning around. Elena reaches for the box with caution and opens it as the three of us peeked inside. There lays and folded a beautiful dress with three envelopes on it. One for Jeremy, Elena, and me."Elena, if this is one of your pranks, you are bad at it." I told her and she frowns.
"I didn't do any of this." She tells me taking the envelope and handing it to us. I opened the letter and read it.
"Mikaelson ball at 7 pm tonight. We hope to get to know our new neighbors." I read out-loud and turned the card to see another writing on it.
"Dear Robin, we brought you this dress as a welcoming gift in Mystic Falls. Please wear this for the ball tonight. We hope to get to know you soon. - Mikaelson." I read before looking up to see them both looking at me with shock.
"Seems like I got something for free." I muttered throwing the envelope back inside and took a sip of my tea.
"Lucky ass." Jeremy muttered as I chuckled.
"So, they're inviting us, just to get us to meet them all?" Elena frowns and I shrug.
"Why not, this family is interesting."
"Are you serious Robin? This family are the Originals and ruined my life along with my friends." Elena tells me and I went to say something towards her, but Jeremy beats me to it."No, Elena. You ruined your friends lives by getting them involved with your drama. You should know that." Jeremy says as Elena glares at him.
"I'll just bring this upstairs to my room. It's 2 pm and I have time to unpack my things." I told them covering the box and bringing it upstairs leaving the two younglings downstairs.
