Zarah swallowed hard because the thick tension in the air is making her hair stand. She can't go any where the lift is out of option. Stairs seems dangerous because the two abductor always use them and she don't want to encounter them on her way. So she faced the double door and hope she will survive this without getting killed by unknown persons for unknown reason.
She was still debating her option when she heard sound of footfalls and made a dash for door.
She entered and hide behind the sofa that lay opposite to the office chair and table. She sat there silently.
When the person didn't enter the room she peered from her hiding spot to check the door and noticed that the office is an antique piece in it self. The owner must have a unique taste in selection. The office is big very big and have a big and beautiful wooden table that rest in front of her and a big chair behind it. A full wall window rest behind the chair. She examined the other side of the room and notice a big table on which a prototype of some project rest.
Her checking halted when the door opened abruptly a big shadow come inside. Shadow because she wasn't able to see the person in her haste to hide.
The person who entered the room sat a the main office chair. And after few mints the door open again and she heard the sound of her kidnapper "she is no where. We checked the whole building. The doors have been locked down but she never exit. She must be hiding some where."
The news that they knew she is inside the building made the fear and panic creep up her spine she is going to be found and then they will kill her after torturing the information out from her.
Her breathing came in pants she knew she is panicking and that is very bad because she can't handle panic well.
"You are done. You can leave know the job is done your money will be transfered to your bank account." The masculine voice said.
"But the girl is lost." Her kidnapper said confused.
"You can leave now." The deep voice said again may be dismissing the person.
The door opened and closed.
The reality hit her hard that she is alone with the Liam Cristiano her abductor and her sister's enemy.
She swallowed again wishing that he never feel her presence in his office. She sat there as silently as possible and waited for him to leave his office.
According to darkness outside it must be near 10 or 11.
It is a dark night as well.
Chair behind the big table squeaked when Liam stand up and the next words proved that he is not going let her slip from his hand easily. "How long you are going to sit there. ?"
The question made sure that he was aware of her presence all the time and waited for her to made a move.
She slowly stood up and faced him. There is no other way to avoid this. Her heart was beating so fast that she can practically hear it. She blinked few times and tried to think but her mind was numb like her other limbs.
She tried to fight the panic but can't because the next thing she knew that Liam cursed and rushed towards her when her vision turned black. And she fainted.
Liam catch the girl in time.
