Kid's P.o.V

She told me not to tell anyone. Or she wouldn't trust me. Why do I care so much about her trusting me?

"Kid?" I looked up and saw Liz standing in the door, "What happened with Hisui?"

"She wouldn't tell me anything." I hated to lie to my weapon but I had to, I hated betraying my friends trust more.

"Then what took you so long?" She asked getting a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"I was trying to get it out of her, she doesn't seem to trust me."

"At least she sort of seems to like you, unlike the rest of us." Her eyes going back to the way they were.

"Maybe she doesn't like friends, or has trust issues?" I said, even though I knew the real reason behind it and it wasn't either of those.

Hisui's P.o.V

Why did I tell Kid anything about my life? I promised myself not to tell anyone. He didn't even try that hard to convince my either I just told him. I'm to nice for my own good sometimes. I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes.

Before I knew it the bright rays of early morning were blinding me. I sat up and got out of my cozy blankets. I walked over to my dresser and took out a black t-shirt and some black skinny jeans, putting them on, covering my extremely pale complexion. Making sure not to forget to put on my gloves, I walked out the door, not even bother to grab any breakfast.

Soul's P.o.V

"Today we will, unfortunately, not have to chance to dissect anything." Professor Stein said from the front of the room

"Oh no, what a shame." Kid whispered in front of me, his voice dripping with sarcasm, earning a small giggle from Patty, two seats next to him.

"Today we will be going on a mission to work on our teamwork through resonance groups. Each group will be going to a different location, where they must survive together for three days." Stein continued.

Stein listed off quite a few resonance groups and random locations, like a desert or rain forest, before he got to ours.

"Your group will be going to the Arctic tundra." Stein concluded.

So in theory we just have to deal with the cold, easy.

Hisui's P.o.V

Cold? Back home I live in a house where the temperature is nearly always below freezing.

"Although," Stein continued, oh great there's an 'Although.' "The idea is for the climate to be intense so if you have already built up an immunity to the temperature, it will not help you in these tests."

Of course they won't help, what was I thinking?

"You have one hour to pack food and clothes, anything beyond that is permitted."

So no blankets in the Arctic, great. Everyone started standing up and walking out the doors to get home and pack as quickly as possible. As I walked out the large front doors Kid reached out and handed my the skateboard he had loaned me yesterday.

"Here." He said, "This will help you get home faster.

"Thanks." I nodded at him.

"You can keep it, I have no use for it really."

I nodded again as he flew, yes flew, off on his skateboard. I stepped on to the board he had given me and took off towards my house.

After packing, probably the warmest clothes I owned, and left my apartment and headed back to the school. We still had 15 minutes so not everyone was back, I pretty sure Kid was planning on being back exactly on time, Soul and Maka still hadn't shown up and a few others from different groups weren't here yet. Once everyone showed their faces, Kid, Liz, and Patty being the last ones, Professor Stein gave us maps to follow to our locations. Maka had the map and was leading us down a river that soon froze and just stopped, which I didn't know rivers could do honestly.

"We're here." Maka finally said, making us all sigh, visible fog coming out of our mouths, and fall to the ground, "It didn't take that long."

"Maka," I said gently, "Look up at the sky."

She lifted her head and saw that the sun had sunk extremely low in the sky and was nearly gone. I still can't get over how weird the sun is here. It looks so creepy. She let out a small 'oh' noise and sat down with us.

"We should probably get something warm before we sleep." Kid said in front of me.

"OH!" Patty suddenly exclaimed, "We should build an igloo, then we can be like Eskimos!!!"

"I suppose that would work" I said.

"Yep." Liz nodded looking at her nails, obviously not paying any attention to the matter at hand.

I noticed Kid roll his eyes slightly before speaking again, "We can build a small igloo and in the morning we can hunt for blanket materials."

Everyone nodded their agreement and we started on the igloo. Once finished Kid was having a mental breakdown about how asymmetrical it was, but if we had let him help it would've taken all three days, if not longer. I grabbed Kid's wrist and pulled him inside with everyone else, even though BlackStar had told me to let him freeze. I opened my bag and looked for something symmetrical, I pulled out a chocolate chip cookie with eight chips, four precisely placed on each side of the cookie.

"Here Kid," I handed him the cookie, "Symmetrical."

He stared at it, starry eyed, "It's perfect."

Liz looked over at me, amazed, "Really? I've been trying to get him to calm down about stuff like this for years, that's all you had to do?"

"Just hand him something symmetrical, look now he's sleeping." I said grinning, looking down at Kid sleeping with a wide smile on his face. Tsubaki chuckled before laying down to sleep. As everyone else laid down I realized how small an igloo this was for eight people.

Kid's P.o.V

*The day before Hisui came*

After working on resonance groups I was back with Liz and Patty complaining,

"Why are there only seven people in our resonance group, why can't there be eight!?"

"Maybe a self using weapon will come by and join our group and your dream will come true." Liz said, a doubting look in her eyes.

*Present*

Half-asleep I remembered that day, did Liz predict the future or was it just an extremely weird coincidence?

I woke up to a cold blast of air coming in the igloo doorway, the three days start now.
