Chapter 20 - Complicated

Seulgi POV

I noticed that Irene unnie is looking down most of the time, at first i thought that she's a bit tired about the comeback preparation, but it doesn't change even after our comeback

After the event with KBS at the music festival, i thought after seeing Jinwoo oppa performing on stage gonna make Irene unnie happier... but she seems more down than before

Before the event she was already feeling down, i know it was the cause of Jinwoo oppa retiring, unnie must've think that it was her fault that he retire because of his injury

How do i know? well i overheard her saying it when she thought that i was asleep, she keep thinking about what would he do now that he's retired, not many pro gamer have it easy after their supposed retirement, a lot of times they just ended up as a coach or streamer/content creator for a team

She cared about him more than she admit it, and i thought that when Jinwoo oppa got a shot to perform as a singer it will put Irene unnie worries at rest... but she's more down than before

I asked Wendy about it but she also don't know what happened, she said that Irene unnie went somewhere alone and she was crying when she comeback to the room

I think i need to pull my last card by calling Jinwoo oppa to come and talk to Irene unnie, maybe he can help unnie with whatever it is she's going trough

I decided to call him and asked him to come

3rd POV

Jinwoo drive himself to RV dorm because of what Seulgi told him, he was wondering on why Joohyun is like this right now

'What's the reason? Is it because i didn't tell her about my retirement? Is it because i didn't tell her that I'll be performing in that music show?'

Unlike his promises with Tiffany to immediately tell Irene about his feeling, Jinwoo didn't do it because RV is entering their promotion period and they both know that RV will be busy during promotion and they decided that it was for the best to wait until they finished promotion

But when Jinwoo gets a call from Seulgi about how Irene is feeling down and have been crying he was distressed hearing it and he immediately went to RV dorm and talk to her like Seulgi recommended

When Jinwoo got there he was welcomed by Yeri and the other RV members except Irene

They congratulate Jinwoo on his World championship win and his performance on the music festival, while he congratulate them on their successful comeback

But all words was stopped when he asked the question

"Where's Joohyun? What happened to her?" Jinwoo asked worriedly, he looked at the girls in front of him and they were showing a worried face

"We don't know what happened to her, one day she just came crying and been on bad mood ever since" Wendy explained "When we try to ask her what's wrong she either ignore us or change the subject entirely" Joy added

'Why would she be like that even to her members' Jinwoo thought "Since when did she behave like this?" He asked

"At first we noticed that she's been acting strange after your group stages oppa, then after that she's been acting unlike herself after your Win and now she become like this after the music festival" Yeri explained

"We thought that she was exhausted because of our concert and comeback preparation but she's acting way weirder than usual" Wendy said
