3RD PERSON POV
Y/n sat in Momo's embrace. It felt right to her despite everything Momo had done. Y/n cuddled up to her, burying her face in Momo's neck. Momo herself would be lying if she said she didn't like the feeling of having Y/n in her arms. It felt right...and good.
"Are you ready to...take this seriously?" Y/n asked.
Momo nodded.
"Yeah."Chapter 7: Serious
"What do you think about this one?" Y/n asked.
Momo looked at the girl's phone, a photo of a light blue wedding dress on it.
"I'd rather have a traditional white one." Momo smiled.
Y/n nodded and began looking for white wedding dresses.
"Momo! Come down here! And bring Y/n!" Momo's head perked up.
She looked at Y/n before grabbing her hand and walking out of their shared bedroom.
"Yes, father?" Momo asked.
"I asked you both to come down here so we can discuss bridesmaids and all that." Momo's father said.
"Ah! Of course! I already have a list of people, I'll be right back." Momo beamed and went back upstairs to the bedroom.
"What about you, Y/n?" Momo's father turned and looked at Y/n.
Y/n cleared her throat before speaking.
"I, too, have a few people in mind."
Momo's father nodded.
"Who did you have in mind exactly?" He asked.
"I was thinking of having one of my friends, Izuku Midoriya, as the best man." Y/n said, going over the list of people in her head.
"I see."
The pair discussed guests and groomsmen. Once Momo came downstairs again, they talked about bridesmaids and the maid of honor.
"I didn't know you knew Monoma." Momo looked at Y/n.
"It's a long story. Wish I didn't know him, he can be annoying sometimes." Y/n groaned.
Momo chuckled.
"I know what you mean." She said.
"Where to now?" Y/n asked, looking at the passing cars as she walked with Momo.
"We're gonna go choose a cake, remember?" Momo said.
"Oh right. What color did you want?" Y/n asked and looked at Momo.
"White." Momo grinned.
"That's it...?" Y/n asked, a little shocked at the thought that Momo wanted almost everything to be white.
Said girl nodded. Just then, Momo's phone began to ring.
"Oh! I better take this in private. You can go on ahead, I'll meet you at the bakery." Momo said.
Y/n nodded. Unbeknownst to Momo however, Y/n would hide nearby and eavesdrop on the conversation.
"I still don't trust her entirely." Y/n thought to herself.
She watched Momo answer the call and begin to speak. Unfortunately, she was only able to hear what Momo said and not what the other person said as well.
"I can't go right now. I'm taking care of wedding preparations." Momo said.
"I know I said I canceled i- No! No! That doesn't change my feelings! I still love you, okay? I just couldn't help but feel pity for Y/n." Momo sighed.
Pity? Y/n was intrigued by this point. She thought Momo would take the relationship seriously but apparently that Pro Hero was more important.
"I'm sure we can make things work out if we just don't let Y/n, my father, or anyone find out, okay? Yeah...love you, bye." Momo groaned, feeling new stress being put on her shoulders.
Y/n began to walk to the bakery by this point so that Momo wouldn't be suspicious. She ran a bit until she was finally there. She tried to wrap her head around the things that occurred as she waited for Momo outside of the bakery.
"Well, looks like Kaminari hasn't really stepped up his game since that plan Ochako came up with." Y/n sighed.
"Hey, did you wait long?" Momo asked as she walked up to Y/n.
Y/n flinched, being brought out of her thoughts.
"Woah, are you okay?"
"Yeah! I'm fine." Y/n said, her voice becoming a bit more high-pitched.
Momo was growing suspicious of her but decided to just brush it off.
"Let's just go in, yeah?" Y/n suggested.
Momo gave her a small smile and nodded. Both females entered the bakery and thought of some wedding cake designs. Y/n thought of some colors other than just white.
"What about...light blue?" She offered.
"Hmm, that does sound nice." Momo smiled.
She discussed colors and flavors with Y/n for a good 5 minutes until something, or rather someone, caught her eye.
"Oh no." She stiffened.
Turns out, she'd seen one of her old classmates. Minoru Mineta, to be specific. He seemed to be restocking shelves with bread.
"What's wrong?" Y/n asked.
It wasn't until Mineta himself noticed Momo that Y/n saw him.
"Yaoyorozu?" He asked, his voice seemed to not have changed since highschool.
He looked at Momo, a blush beginning to decorate his face as he checked her out.
"Looks like you changed a bit." He laughed creepily.
Y/n turned to Mineta and glared.
"Listen buddy, I don't like the tone you're using." She said, trying to defend Momo.
Mineta only ignored Y/n and walked up to Momo.
"How would you like to come to my place? I'm sure you'd like it." He smiled creepily.
Momo cringed and backed up. Y/n got behind Mineta and grabbed his arm, turning him around to face her.
"That's my fiancee you're talking to," Y/n growled.
"Now, why don't you buzz off, huh?" She scowled.
Mineta gulped before walking away. Y/n sighed and walked to Momo, grabbing her hand.
"Why don't we go to another bakery?" She suggested.
Momo's heart skipped a beat, a small blush decorating her face.
"Y-Yeah...that sounds great."To be continued
