"Who is that?!?!" I asked Kayla, in a whisper.
She grinned. "That's Kyle. He's Jack's friend."
Jack was Kayla's older brother and my assumption of him went up as I saw how cute his friends could be.
"Eadlyn." He said, bowing
I blushed. "You're Kyle right?" I asked. He nodded and I felt my heart beat furiously. "I take it you're Jack's friend?" He nodded again as my stomach lurched. "It's lovely to meet you I said, trying not to sound in love.
"As it is to meet you." He said "Jack and Kayla mention you a lot.
I looked over at Kayla who tried to hide behind a sofa. "I hope to see you soon." He said and turned around.
As he walked out I only knew one thing. I was in love with Kyle.

Later that night, as I left Kayla's house I came up with a plan. "Mom?" I asked my mother.
"Yes, dear?" She said looking at me.
"I want to have a small party." I said. "Just because. And I know people I want to invite."
My mom gave me a knowing look at said: "Tell me everything."
