REGINA CHASE GLOVER has decided that she liked summer the most. The fashion, the heat (albeit it unreliable at times), and especially those dainty little tea cakes her cook would bake up. Like anyone her age, she relished in the lack of work she had to endure, having more free time on her hands than she could handle — but Regina also liked to spend this time by herself, but like, that's totally not her saying that she doesn't like hanging out with her friends! She so totally adores hanging out with Samantha and the other two!

(Mainly Samantha! But the other two are fun!) Okay sure, call her a loner bitch or whatever, Regina wasn't going to lie about how true that probably (most definitely) was, that would just be uber tacky, and Regina wouldn't be caught dead looking like a tramp — AKA, Bridget Harper Gregory. Now that's the tackiest skank Regina has ever seen.

But of course, like every other seventeen year old in, like, the entire universe, the grating voices of her overzealous, overachieving, know-it-all of a pair of parent became to much for poor Regina, who was only looking to spend the last week and a half of her summer break by herself, in her room, pre-planning every exquisite outfit she had planned for her new school year. At this point she didn't care if her parents became worried if she had slept in the past week or so, she just wanted everyone to know that screw tartan! Blue was the new black!

So with seeking a momentary piece of refuge away from her suffocating family, Regina had found herself perched on the left side of her best friend's bed, while said best friend, Samantha Knightly, or just quite simply Sam, was sat cross legged on the floor, un-brushed, most definitely knotty, hair spilling out of her high ponytail, desperately squishing in as many skimpy summer clothes into a suitcase as she could. Regina always forgot that Samantha and Tristan, her twin and another of Regina's friends, were the only wizards in the family, and so their parents like kinda forbid? magic in the house, so basically they were stuck in a muggle way of life until they could move out. Primitive, Regina caught herself thinking.
